Our Opportunity:

As a Senior Product Manager at Snyk, you will be responsible for leading Snyk’s IDE and CLI experiences, setting their long-term strategy based on your research of market trends, developer needs, and deep subject matter expertise. In this role, you will consistently demonstrate measurable positive impact from delivering complex initiatives. 

Additionally, you will refine and own relevant business cases based on the business/revenue opportunities. You will evaluate whether these initiatives enable expansion with the current customer base and market segment and meet the needs of new market segments.

You’ll spend your time:

  • Working closely with your Engineering and Product peers to identify key opportunities to deliver an engaging local developer experience for Snyk’s customers.
  • Designing and defining detailed specifications for technical and functional requirements.
  • Defining product metrics to measure success and make data-driven product decisions.
  • Defining and communicating a vision for the next generation of local development integrations.
  • Collecting & leveraging customer feedback, user research and data to determine new areas of expansion.
  • Presenting Snyk’s roadmap to strategic prospects & customers.
  • Communicating your teams' work internally and externally, including to executive leadership, customers, and market analysts.

You should apply if you:

  • Are motivated by delighting Developers and have empathy for their challenges, championing the voice of the customer. 
  • Have experience building solutions that fit into multiple segments of the customer's software development lifecycle.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and enjoy helping others to be successful.
  • Communicate proactively and clearly, and would enjoy working in highly cross-functional, distributed product teams.
  • Have strong quantitative and qualitative research and analytics skills.
  • Are familiar with agile software development practices, have a technical background or have experience targeting the developer persona.

We’d especially love to hear from you if you:

  • Have prior software development experience.
  • Have domain expertise in cybersecurity or developer tools.
  • Have experience directing or developing IDE Plugins or Command-line Interfaces.
  • Have experience working with data and like getting hands-on to build prototypes.
  • Have experience with enterprise, government or regulated industries - bringing empathy for those users’ unique challenges.
  • Have familiarity with Application Security, DevSecOps, AST (SAST, SCA, IAST, DAST).
