Staff Product Manager, Incubations

Lisbon, Portugal; Zurich

Snyk is the leader in secure AI software development, helping millions of developers develop fast and stay secure as AI transforms how software is built. Our AI-native Developer Security Platform integrates seamlessly into development and security workflows, making it easy to find, fix, and prevent vulnerabilities — from code and dependencies to containers and cloud.

Our mission is to empower every developer to innovate securely in the AI era — boosting productivity while reducing business risk. We’re not your average security company - we build Snyk on One Team, Care Deeply, Customer Centric, and Forward Thinking.

It’s how we stay driven, supportive, and always one step ahead as AI reshapes our world.

Why this role?

Snyk’s Incubation Accelerator is seeking a Staff Product Manager to join our team building transformative products from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to shape early-stage product bets at Snyk, operating with the agility of a startup while leveraging the scale, infrastructure, and customer base of an industry leader.

As a Staff PM in Incubations, you’ll play a pivotal role in discovering, validating, and scaling new product opportunities. You will partner with incubation engineers, design, and go-to-market teams to take new ideas from concept to product-market fit. Unlike traditional PM roles focused on scaling existing products, this role thrives in ambiguity and zero-to-one environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive New Product Discovery: Partner with engineers, design, and customers to identify high-potential opportunities in AI security and beyond.
  • Validate Problem-Solution Fit: Design lean experiments, MVPs, and prototypes to quickly validate customer problems and solution approaches.
  • Shape Product Strategy: Define and evolve the vision, positioning, and roadmap for incubation initiatives, balancing short-term experiments with long-term strategic bets.
  • Customer Engagement: Work closely with design partners, early adopters, and Snyk customers to deeply understand their workflows and validate new product hypotheses.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Take incubation products from zero-to-one — from concept validation through pilot launches, iterating rapidly to reach product-market fit.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure alignment on product direction and learnings.
  • Scale Learnings: Share insights and frameworks across the wider Snyk product org to accelerate incubation success and inform core product strategy.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in technology (product management or engineering), including at least 3 years in a product management role.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to engage deeply with engineering and AI/ML concepts.
  • Comfort with high ambiguity, with the ability to design frameworks and execute effectively in fast-moving, uncertain environments.
  • Strong discovery skills: deep experience with user research, design partner programs, and iterative validation.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to influence across teams, leadership, and customers.

It’d Be Awesome If You Also…

  • Have experience in developer security, AI/ML products, or agentic systems.
  • Worked as a software engineer in the past.
  • Have worked in an internal incubator, venture studio, or startup environment.
  • Have successfully partnered with enterprise customers as design partners for new product validation.
