Deal Operations Analyst

SOCi, the leader in AI-powered marketing solutions for multi-location businesses, is currently looking for a Deal Desk Analyst to help build the foundation of our internal systems and processes, scale these systems, and improve efficiencies across the board.

The Deal Operations Analyst serves as the primary point of contact for the Sales team, providing hands-on support in building quotes, structuring deals and guiding opportunities through to close. Operating within a case queue model, this role manages incoming DealOps Support requests submitted via ticketing systems, addressing a wide range of deal types on a case-by-case basis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and experienced in navigating SaaS deal structures, working cross-functionally with Finance, Legal and Revenue Operations to ensure accurate, compliant and timely deal execution. 

SOCi expects to pay a base salary in the range of $46,500 to $64,000 CAD. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Provide operational support across the full sales deal lifecycle, including quote creation, approvals and contract execution. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to sales teams, offering guidance of best practices and contract terms to drive successful deal execution. 
  • Partner with Finance and Legal to ensure deals are financially sound, contractually compliant and aligned with company policies. 
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales Operations and other internal stakeholders to support process enhancements and tool improvements. 
  • Support complex or non-standard deals, providing tailored assistance while maintaining consistent communication and alignment with leadership.
  • Be willing to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business and accept all other duties as assigned
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of deal documentation by maintaining organized records and updating systems in a timely manner.
  • Monitor deal progress to identify potential bottlenecks and proactively escalate issues when needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of internal policies and processes to ensure consistent application across all deals.

What You’ll Need to be Successful

  • Hybrid Opportunity: This role is fully remote until our Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON offices are established. Once the office is in place, it will transition to a hybrid model, with a 50/50 split between remote and in-office work.

  • Must Have:  
    • 1-2 years of relevant work experience, ideally in Deal Operations or Sales.
    • You have a strong understanding of SaaS sales models and processes.
    • Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and knowledge of CPQ tools (e.g.DealHub CPQ).
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. 
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
    • Willing to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business and accept all other duties as assigned.
  • Desired Skills (but not required):  
    • Bachelors or Masters' degree in Accounting or Finance is a Plus.
    • Relevant work experience in the SaaS industry.
