Event Marketing Manager

United States (Remote)

SOCi, the leader in AI-powered marketing solutions for multi-location businesses, is currently looking for an experienced Event Marketing Manager to own SOCi’s trade show and conference calendar end to end: strategy, budget, logistics, on-site execution, and the post-event reporting that proves it drove the pipeline. You’ll also play a key supporting role on ReImagine, SOCi’s flagship annual customer conference.

This is a hands-on role for a highly organized operator who can juggle logistics, creative, and vendors at once without dropping a detail — and who’s genuinely excited to use AI to knock out the busywork so more energy goes into the experiences themselves. If you love the adrenaline of show day and the satisfaction of a booth that runs like clockwork, this is your role.

SOCi expects to pay a base salary in the range of $70,000 - $90,000 USD base plus bonuses. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Who We Are

SOCi is redefining how multi-location enterprises achieve local and AI search visibility with the world’s first agentic workforce. Built specifically for distributed brands, SOCi’s brand-trained agents are guided by a unified visibility engine that autonomously executes and optimizes local marketing work across AI search, GEO ecosystems, social, and reviews — ensuring every location is visible, discoverable, and growing in today’s geo-driven landscape. Trusted by leading brands like Ford, Ace Hardware, and Liberty Tax, and recognized by Fast Company as one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies, SOCi transforms marketing from software you manage into work that gets done — intelligently, consistently, and at scale.

How Success is Measured

  • Pipeline and revenue influenced by events
  • Attendance, engagement, and the quality of on-site execution
  • On-time, on-budget delivery across a full event calendar
  • Speed of post-event sales follow-up and clarity of event ROI reporting

What You’ll Own

  • Event strategy & execution
    • Own the strategy, planning, and execution of SOCi’s trade show event calendar — major industry conferences, strategic third-party events, and select customer-hosted sponsorships — from concept through post-event reporting
    • Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics, working with vendors and venues to hit deadlines and stay on budget
    • Review, negotiate, and finalize event-related contracts (venues, vendors, sponsorships) in partnership with Legal and Finance as needed
    • Support ReImagine, SOCi’s flagship annual customer conference — partnering with the Sr. Event Manager on strategy while owning specific workstreams such as logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site execution
  • Creative & promotion
    • Partner with copywriters, designers, and Brand to develop event messaging, collateral, booth design, and pre/post-event campaigns (email, landing pages, social, paid)
    • Manage event asset inventory (booth materials, collateral, swag), including shipping and receiving logistics
    • Use AI tools to speed up event content production — from drafting invites and follow-up emails to summarizing post-event feedback — building repeatable workflows the team can reuse
  • Cross-functional partnership & reporting
    • Work with Marketing Ops to capture event data, streamline sales follow-up, and report on event ROI (pipeline influenced, attendance, engagement)
    • Equip sellers with the tools and resources they need for pre- and post-event outreach
    • Build relationships across Sales, CS, and Product Marketing to align on event goals and gather feedback for continuous improvement

What You’ll Need to be Successful

  • Remote Opportunity: Ability to work 100% remotely
  • Must Have:
    • 3–5 years of event marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS
    • Proven track record planning and executing successful events end to end, from strategy through on-site execution
    • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and vendors at once
    • Experience with event management and CRM/marketing automation tools
    • Genuinely AI-forward — you already use AI tools to speed up content, planning, or reporting work
    • Willingness and ability to travel as required for events
    • Willing to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business and accept all other duties as assigned

This position will remain open with applications due 30 days after the time of this posting. This position is being hired on an urgent basis. The application window may close before the above mentioned time. If SOCi receives a sufficient number of applications to select a candidate prior to that date.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
