Skills & Experience
- Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills (there is a reason this is the first bullet—it's our most important qualification)
- Comfortability managing budgets of at least 6 figures in ad spend per month
- 5-8 years’ experience in day-to-day management of paid search on Google/Bing
- B2C e-commerce & direct response experience
- Able to discuss advanced technical concepts and strategic plans in a clear and concise manner to a wide range of audiences
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and formulas to help drive efficiencies for day-to-day tasks; pivot tables, Vlookups, SUMIFS, are your jam
- A working knowledge of Google Shopping campaigns and the components of a product feed
- Analytical thinker—always asking the “why” and not afraid to speak up
- Comfortable taking initiative to create new internal company processes that improve workflows
Responsibilities
- Run day-to-day paid search operations, driving continued success for Socium’s largest, most complex accounts
- Collaborate across account teams to create blended paid media strategies that have the client’s KPI and goals as the north star
- Play an integral role as a leader on a number of our larger accounts that spend over $500k/mo
- Create scalable solutions for account work that are translatable to other account teams
- Implement and test new platform betas, channels, and features
- Work alongside Director and senior leadership to develop overarching channel strategy
- Work with Marketing on case studies, blog posts, think pieces/white papers, and other opportunities to showcase Socium’s Search leadership in the industry
- Maintain relationships with partners and vendors
- Stay on top of industry and platform updates, communicating them with the wider team
- Mentorship of junior team members, including troubleshooting complex account or platform issues and creating training modules
- Assist in new business audit and pitch process
Compensation & Benefits
- $110,000 - $135,000
