As a Creative Strategist at Socium, you will lead the creative vision for high-spend paid social campaigns, ensuring that creative assets are optimized for performance and strategically developed to maximize results. You’ll go beyond simply repurposing existing client assets—driving the development of net-new content through production initiatives like photo and video shoots, influencer collaborations, and in-house creative solutions. Your expertise in performance creative will shape how we engage with clients, ensuring seamless integration with Socium’s paid social strategies while continuously refining best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute performance-driven creative strategies tailored for large-scale paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
- Define frameworks for creative testing, analyzing performance data to iterate and refine assets that drive stronger engagement and conversions
- Ensure creative best practices are consistently applied, staying ahead of platform-specific trends and evolving consumer behaviors
- Spearhead how creative engagements are structured with clients, ensuring a seamless, high-impact experience that enhances campaign performance
- Identify opportunities to create net-new content beyond repurposing client-provided assets, including leading creative ideation for video and photo shoots
- Partner with the Creative Production Lead to develop scalable content production strategies, ensuring clients have a pipeline of fresh, high-performing assets
- Guide clients on best practices for developing paid social creative, ensuring assets align with their brand while being optimized for performance
- Build and maintain a system for analyzing and optimizing performance creative, leveraging data to inform creative decisions
- Monitor ad performance across assigned Performance Creative clients, ensuring alignment with digital marketing trends and creative best practices
- Explore and integrate advanced analytics tools to gain deeper insights into creative performance and audience engagement
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on creative strategy and performance
- Develop creative roadmaps for our clients which will systematically gather learnings on what type of content and messaging performs
- Lead and mentor Account Managers to communicate performance creative insights in client meetings effectively
- Work closely with Paid Social leadership to ensure creative strategy is fully integrated into broader media plan
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, ensuring a cohesive and strategic approach to performance creative
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate creative insights and recommendations to clients and internal teams
- 5+ years of experience in a creative strategy, performance creative, or related role within a digital marketing agency
- Expertise in paid social creative strategy, with a deep understanding of platform-specific best practices and how creative drives performance
- Experience in content production, influencer outreach, including briefing and managing shoots, directing creators, and working with production partners
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in A/B testing and optimizing creative assets based on performance data
Compensation & Benefits:
- $90,000 - $110,000
