Quantitative Credit Risk Manager (f/m/d)

Your Role 

  • Credit Risk Assessment & Optimization:
    • Transform analytical findings into optimizations for data-driven credit risk assessments.
    • Support the setup and improvement of scoring approaches for different customer groups.
    • Perform data tests and model validations.
  • Loan Loss Provision & Reporting:
    • Calculate loan loss provisions and create associated reports for stakeholders.
    • Develop and implement monitoring and reporting tools for Credit Risk Management processes, including early warning indicators and respective measures.
  • Automated Scoring Solutions:
    • Own and ensure automated scoring solutions align with Solaris SE strategy and goals.
    • Lead scoring-related projects and the onboarding of new partners.
    • Improve underlying scoring and data structures.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Support:
    • Serve as the Credit Risk Management point of contact for scoring-related topics.
    • Support communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Process Development & Governance:
    • Take responsibility for developing and redesigning implemented processes.
    • Implement appropriate governance and documentation processes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Training & Collaboration:
    • Guide and train Credit Risk Team members.
    • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders (Management, Data, Product, and Tech teams).
    • Providing information, support and remediation in regards to audit findings and related information requests

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the credit sector or banking.
  • Experience with IFRS 9 and banking regulations.
  • University degree in mathematics, economics, banking business administration, or a comparable field.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and modeling using Python and SQL are a must.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, solution-oriented, and independent working method.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Self-driven, autonomous and accountable.
  • Experience translating data-driven results into operational processes and decision-making.
  • You are fluent in English to engage with all international team members within the company. Other languages, particularly German is a strong advantage
