Compensation & Benefits Manager (d/f/m) at Solaris

Your Role
- Developing and executing a compensation and benefits strategy that is competitive, compliant, and aligns with company goals within the highly regulated banking environment.
- Advising senior leadership on compensation and benefits trends and performing in-depth analysis to ensure data-driven business decisions.
- Managing and overseeing regular compensation cycles, including budgeting, salary adjustments, bonuses, and equity distributions.
- Administering the equity management platform (Shareworks) and leading equity management initiatives to establish fair and competitive compensation.
- Conducting job mapping and evaluation to define roles, responsibilities, and the value of positions within the organization.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and refine compensation policies and projects that support business transformation and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring that all practices are compliant with German and European regulations, including KWG (Kreditwesengesetz), IVV
- (Institutsvergütungsverordnung), EU regulatory frameworks, and relevant aspects of European Employment Law.
- Preparing detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders as required.

Hard skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in a compensation and benefits role in EMEA.
- Background in a highly regulated environment, preferably banking or financial services, with hands-on experience in creating policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Experience in reporting, building compensation models, conducting compensation analysis, performing salary benchmarking, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of German and European compensation laws and regulations, including banking-specific regulations.
- Experience in equity management and equity management tools.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, HR reporting tools, and other data analytics and visualization tools is a plus.
- Fluent in English and German.
Soft skills:
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to visualize data effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex compensation matters to senior leadership clearly and concisely.
- A hands-on attitude, with strong problem-solving skills, capable of adapting to changing regulatory landscapes and business needs.
