Your Role 

• Design and implement domain specific data models, and visualisations that serve a specific business need.
• Experimenting with prediction data pipelines by using or developing ML functions.
• Implement and provide scheduled and ad-hoc reports and analysis with well defined metrics for a specific business use case.
• Translate business requirements into functional requirements in a close collaboration with the respective business function and guide the business departments towards better data coverage for informed business decisions.
• Comprehend complex business requirements and correlations between tasks and requests in order to enable self-service analytics.
• Contribute towards the common data quality framework by statistical analysis and anomaly detection, ideally using AI models.
• Constantly document the processes and technologies and enable knowledge sharing.

• Degree in Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences or Finance and Economics
• Minimum 3 year experience in a role of a data analyst in a fast pace environment, ideally in banking and finance
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient with SQL
  • Good data visualisation skills
  • Excellent financial product understanding
  • Ability to understand complex banking terms and concepts
  • Dashboard storytelling
  • Familiarity with data modelling and data-warehouse
  • Familiarity with data transformation and data orchestration tools, ideally dbt and airflow
  • Familiarity with ML models and statistical analysis
  • Some understanding of software engineering principles, including version control (Git), CI/CD, and automated testing .

• Language Skills :

  • Excellent English language skills
  • Preferable German language skills
    
    
• Soft Skills : 
  • Very strong communication skills, to both technical and non technical members.
  • Ability to grasp new business concepts and translate them into technical requirements
  • Very good documentation and knowledge sharing skills
  • Adaptability and Continuous Learning
