Manager, Indirect Procurement

The position will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Indirect Procurement. The successful candidate will be someone who is passionate about Indirect Procurement and Operations, gets excited about problem solving with various cross functional teams, and is focused on building relationships.
The Manager, Indirect Procurement will be key in partnering with our regional stakeholders and departments to support the day-to-day procurement activities across the business focusing on Marketing and Creative. Strong stakeholder management, contract management, supplier management, and negotiation skills are critical. This dynamic individual will be responsible for leading a variety of tactical and strategic tasks including issuing RFPs/RFQs, data collection and analysis; cost saving ideas; supplier management; contract management and providing any additional procurement support to the broader teams.

Overall Responsibilities:
- Manage and assist in the RFQ & RFP process for strategic projects mainly in Marketing and Creative Services categories.
- Build, maintain, and manage supplier relationships and ensure excellent communication.
- Develop supplier scorecards and QBRs.
- Lead opportunities for cost savings and process improvement initiatives with internal stakeholders aligned with business objectives.
- Develop creative ideas to ensure we are paying market value while partnering with strategic innovative suppliers.
- Partner with stakeholders to build and execute category strategies and ways of working processes.
- Engage and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of projects.
- Support the enhancement of procurement processes, systems, and practices to achieve greater efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence.
- Manage negotiation of pricing and commercial terms in contracts with suppliers that adhere to Sol's procurement policies and standards and meet the end user requirements, focused on cost competitiveness and cost transparency, and leveraging buying power, for assigned projects.
Job Requirements Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5-7+ years of Indirect Procurement experience
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Understanding of Procurement processes and end-to-end Supply Chain Operations.
- Strong skills in relationship building and supplier relationship management.
- Supplier contract management skills required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven ability to work independently.
- Effective problem solving and project management skills.
- Organized and keen on details and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
- Ability to occasionally travel for supplier visits, up to ~5%
- Beauty industry or Consumer Packaged Goods experience preferred.
- CPSM, CPM, CSP, or Six Sigma certifications preferred, not required.
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule (1X per week in our NYC Office).

Salary Range
$110,000 - $120,000 USD
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
