
Senior Manager, International Visual Merchandising

The position will be based in our Paris office and report to the Regional Design Director – International.
Overall Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing VM managers and workflows to create consistent International Visual Merchandising executions (both permanent and temporary/trade activations) and consumer event activations aligned to the International Marketing calendar and regional priorities.
• Work closely with International Design Director and Global VM teams to ensure that all International in-store initiatives are strategically aligned with the Global brand vision and Regional business objectives.
• Mentor and inspire teams to perform at the top of their abilities and foster growth in the overall collective ability of the team to think differently and more broadly about their work
• Champion creative problem solving and develop a reputation for being a collaborative and solutions-oriented team
• Manage day-to-day VM team workflows by collaborating closely with Regional commercial/sales teams, International marketing team and VM managers on new retailer launches and door openings, while leading the review and approval process with Global and International stakeholders.
• Deep dive into marketing briefs, regional insights, and opportunities to lead teams to effective ideas and concepts
• Along with VM Managers, lead and execute VM strategy and programs in International regions from briefing to roll-out in a creative, effective, and professional way to optimize budgets and timelines.
• Ensure timelines and process for VM workflow aligns to on counter dates.
• Develop strong relationships with retailers and suppliers to ensure best in class executions while acting as a brand ambassador and fostering collaborative relationships and building trust within International and Global VM teams.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience working in Visual Merchandising, beauty experience is a plus.
• Experienced people manager, inspiring mentor, and proven team builder.
• Background in Industrial Design, Merchandising, Architecture and/or Art Direction.
• Elevated taste, keen design sensibilities to meaningfully contribute to the expanding material, spatial and merchandising fixtures language of the brand.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely – the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback that is necessary to improve creativity.
• Ability to be flexible, adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Thoughtful, empathetic, and positive attitude with an infectious personal drive that energizes others.
• Must be highly collaborative with the ability to understand the objectives of all cross-functional partners and work toward solutions that meet that need and uphold the creative integrity of the brand.
