What You’ll Do
As the Data Analyst Marketing Coordinator, you will drive market strategy, manage product lifecycles, and execute trade marketing initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in aligning Global strategies with regional needs, ensuring our products resonate in diverse markets.
This position is a permanent contract and is based in Paris.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Sales analysis: conduct monthly sales analysis by product category (sell-in/sell-out) and support monthly retailer analysis. Identify key trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Data management: Lead the process of quickly pulling, analysing, and summarizing data from various sources (market, NPD, Kantar, competitors, retailers) to ensure that the business has the most up-to-date insights available.
- Market & competitor insights: monitor competition, consumer behavior, pricing strategies, measure market share evolution and market trends to inform and optimize global and regional marketing strategies.
- Conduct ad hoc: analysis, forecasts and deep dives into strategic topics to unlock growth opportunities for the region.
- Media & PR/Influence dashboards: conduct monthly with consumer engagement & PR/influence teams to monitor media planning and performance.
- Campaign optimization: lead post-launch analysis for marketing campaigns to optimize future strategies and enhance performance.
- Reporting & dashboards: develop and maintain simple yet effective reports and dashboards to track progress against business goals. Present data-driven insights to support decision-making and growth.
- Conduct pricing analysis: ensure new product initiatives are strategically priced in the region and opportunities for price increases are realized and then flawlessly executed in the market.
- Sampling follow up: assess and track sampling opportunities and work with regional teams to maximize sampling initiatives across channels.
- Business Reviews: prepare and present regular Business Reviews, including developing charts for PowerPoint presentations, to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on key metrics and objectives.
- Collaboration: work closely with product, consumer engagement & pr/influence teams to support data-driven decision-making. Help prioritize marketing efforts based on insights and ensure strategies align with regional and global goals.
The position will be based in our Paris office and report to the Regional Design Director – International.
Must Haves
- Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in Consulting firm preferably in retail/cosmetics/luxury goods.
- Rigor, autonomy, organization, adaptability, and proactivity are essentials for the job.
- Worked with Circana tool and predictive AI model
- Excellent written and spoken, ppt, excel, and think cell skills
- Excellent analytical skills, consumer insights and data with high attention to detail
- Business School or University Master's Graduate, with a major in Business, Management, or Marketing.
- Knowledge and affinity with marketing, and business. Interest in the beauty industry is preferred.
Required Language Proficiency: English fluency is a must
