What You’ll Do
The Manager, Indirect Procurement will be key in partnering with our regional stakeholders and departments to support the day-to-day procurement activities across the business focusing Marketing and Creative. Strong stakeholder management, contract management, supplier management, and negotiation skills are critical. This dynamic individual will be responsible for leading a variety of tactical and strategic tasks including issuing RFPs/RFQs, data collection and analysis; cost saving ideas; supplier management; contract management and providing any additional procurement support to the broader teams. The position will be reporting to the Director, Global Indirect Procurement. The successful candidate will be someone who is passionate about Indirect Procurement, gets excited about problem solving with various cross functional teams, and is focused on building relationships. This role is a unique opportunity to join a new team chartered by developing the foundation and future of Indirect Procurement at Sol de Janeiro.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Manage and assist in the RFQ & RFP process for strategic projects primarily in Marketing and Creative Services categories including but not limited to creative production, ecommerce, public relations, influencer, design, and media.
- Build, maintain, and manage supplier relationships and ensure excellent communication.
- Be agile in working with new internal stakeholders while we roll out Indirect Procurement engagement
- Develop supplier scorecards and QBRs with strategic partners.
- Lead opportunities for cost savings and process improvement initiatives with internal stakeholders aligned with business objectives.
- Develop creative ideas to ensure we are paying market value while partnering with strategic innovative suppliers.
- Partner with stakeholders to build and execute category strategies and ways of working processes.
- Engage and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of projects.
- Support the enhancement of procurement processes, systems, and practices to achieve greater efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence.
- Manage negotiation of pricing and commercial terms in contracts with suppliers that adhere to Sol's procurement policies and standards and meet the end user requirements, focused on cost competitiveness and cost transparency, and leveraging buying power, for assigned projects.
Must Haves
- Bachelor's degree required in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5+ years of Indirect Procurement experience specifically in Marketing and Creative categories
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Understanding of Procurement processes and end-to-end Supply Chain Operations.
- Strong skills in relationship building and supplier relationship management.
- Supplier contract management skills required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven ability to work independently.
- Effective problem solving and project management skills.
- Organized and keen on details and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
- Ability to occasionally travel for supplier visits, up to ~5%
- Beauty industry or Consumer Packaged Goods experience preferred.
- CPSM, CPM, CSP, or Six Sigma certifications preferred, not required.

Salary Range
$100,000 - $110,000 USD
