What You'll Do
At Sol de Janeiro, our people are the core of everything we do. As the Manager, People Experience Operations, you’ll oversee and enhance the employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. You’ll manage the daily operations of the People Experience team, making sure that every process, from onboarding to offboarding, is efficient, compliant, and filled with Sol’s signature joy. You’ll supervise a People Experience Specialist, collaborate cross-functionally with People, Finance, IT, and Legal, and play a vital role in creating scalable systems and processes that keep our growing global team connected, informed, and supported.
What You’ll Be Working On
HR Systems & Data Management
- Oversee all employee data in our HR systems (HiBob, Greenhouse, TriNet, etc.), ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Generate reports and insights to support business and people strategy decisions.
- Lead system enhancements, integrations, and process automation in partnership with IT and HRIS vendors.
- Manage audits and ensure compliance with employment laws and data privacy regulations across regions.
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Oversee the full onboarding experience from pre-hire logistics to new hire orientation and systems setup.
- Manage offboarding processes, including exit documentation, system terminations, etc.
- Continuously optimize onboarding and exit workflows to ensure consistency, compliance, and exceptional employee experience.
Payroll & Benefits Support
- Partner with our PEO and Payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely data for payroll processing.
- Manage benefits data changes, leave tracking, and audit processes.
- Resolve discrepancies across People Experience, payroll, and benefits systems in a timely and proactive manner.
Policy & Compliance
- Maintain and update company policies and employee handbooks to reflect regulatory and internal changes.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Lead documentation retention and compliance audits.
Employee Experience
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for People Experience-related inquiries and employee support.
- Partner with People Experience leadership and ERGs to plan and execute engagement initiatives, cultural moments, and wellness programs.
- Champion Sol’s people-first culture through programs that foster inclusion, recognition, and connection.
Process Improvement & Projects
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance the employee experience.
- Lead People Experience projects such as HRIS upgrades, policy rollouts, and organizational change initiatives.
- Implement scalable processes to support Sol’s global growth.
- Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor the People Experience Specialist, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
- Build a collaborative, solutions-oriented team culture centered on warmth, accuracy, and care.
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, HR generalist, or related HR functions, with 1–2 years managing a direct report.
- Strong working knowledge of HR systems (HRIS/ATS), payroll processes, and employment compliance.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems such as HiBob, TriNet, and Greenhouse.
- A proactive, people-first mindset, passionate about building joyful and efficient employee experiences.

Salary Range
$90,000 - $115,000 USD
