What You’ll Do

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Process Documentation Specialist for a 3-4 month project. You will be responsible for capturing, validating, and documenting "To-Be" financial workflows within our SAP S/4HANA environment. Your goal is to create clear process narratives as well as standardized SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) that will serve as the foundation for creating training documents and support audit compliance

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Process Mapping: Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to map end-to-end finance processes within SAP S/4HANA.
  • SOP Creation: Write high-quality documentation, including step-by-step user guides, transaction flowcharts, and Fiori app navigation instructions.
  • Validation: Perform "desk-side" observations to ensure documented processes match actual system configurations and business requirements.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all documentation adheres to company branding, naming conventions, and audit compliance standards.
  • Gap Identification: Highlight inconsistencies or inefficiencies in current workflows discovered during the documentation phase.

Must Haves

  • SAP S/4HANA Expertise: Solid understanding of SAP Finance modules (FI/CO) and experience navigating the Fiori interface.
  • Technical Writing: Proven ability to translate complex system steps into simple, easy-to-follow instructions for end-users.
  • Finance Knowledge: Familiarity with core accounting principles and common corporate finance workflows.
  • Tools: Proficiency in documentation tools such as MS Visio, Lucidchart, or SAP Enable Now (Signavio experience is a plus).
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to capture nuances like mandatory fields and approval thresholds.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in S/4HANA or ERP implementation project.
  • Background in Internal Audit or Business Process Transformation.
  • CPG experience is a plus, but not required.

Salary Range

$120 - $150 USD
