Director of Product, Commercial Strategy

Remote - United States

About Solera

Solera Health is dedicated to changing lives by guiding people to better health in ways that work for them. Our platform connects individuals with personalized programs, tools, and resources to help prevent, manage, or even reverse chronic conditions. We’re bringing together payers, providers, and proven digital health solutions to make lasting improvements in health more accessible, measurable, and sustainable.

The Role

The Director of Product, Commercial Strategy will drive the commercial success of Solera’s product portfolio, serving as the bridge between high-level strategy and go-to-market (GTM) execution.

This highly cross-functional leader will build business cases, craft GTM narratives, define packaging and pricing, and develop sales enablement tools that help our teams win. The role requires a balance of hands-on execution, financial acumen, and strategic storytelling—as well as the ability to lead through influence across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product.

What You’ll Do

  • Market Discovery & Business Case Development – Lead market and client discovery to identify and validate opportunities. Build and own business cases, including financial modeling, market sizing, and strategic justification.
  • GTM Narrative & Positioning – Translate insights into compelling value propositions, positioning, and messaging. Create and champion GTM narratives that resonate with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Sales Enablement – Develop core sales tools—including pitch decks, ROI calculators, and competitive battle cards—that equip Sales with winning assets.
  • Product Commercialization – Partner with Product to validate market demand and commercial justification for key initiatives. Translate the roadmap into a unified GTM strategy supported by client-facing assets.
  • Pricing & Packaging – Define and execute pricing and packaging strategies in collaboration with Finance, Sales, and executive leadership.
  • Product Launch Leadership – Serve as the commercial lead for product launches, ensuring offerings are positioned effectively and achieve adoption and revenue goals.
  • Performance & Reporting – Monitor commercial KPIs, deliver insights to the executive team, and drive continuous improvements based on market results.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years in product management, including 2+ years with direct commercial ownership (pricing, GTM strategy, or P&L influence).
  • Healthcare Expertise: Experience in healthcare, ideally with payers or large employers. Knowledge of value-based care is a strong plus.
  • B2B Product Experience: Demonstrated success managing and commercializing B2B products for business buyers.
  • Financial Acumen: Proven ability to build and defend business cases, including financial modeling. Candidates should expect to demonstrate this skill in interviews.
  • Hands-On GTM Leadership: Comfortable developing sales assets, business cases, and pricing models directly—not just overseeing teams.
  • Influence Without Authority: Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives without direct reports.
  • Communication & Storytelling: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to simplify complex topics and inspire confidence.
  • Creative Thinker with Vision: Able to connect market insights with strategy and craft innovative commercialization approaches.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Background in management consulting, with a focus on strategy or commercial operations.

Location & Travel

  • Remote, U.S.-based position with occasional domestic travel.
  • While this role is fully remote, many cross-functional meetings take place in the mornings, so we strongly prefer candidates based in the Central or Eastern time zones. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, as we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary.
  • Flexible, remote-first work culture.
  • Generous PTO and 13 paid company holidays.
  • Paid parental and pregnancy leave, plus adoption assistance.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Perks like a free Fitbit, SworkIt and more!

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
