Senior Manager, Membership (Inside Sales)
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Membership to lead and scale our B2C inside sales function. This individual will manage a team of Membership Directors (account executives), drive disciplined pipeline management, and implement best-in-class sales processes to achieve and exceed revenue goals. The ideal candidate is a player-coach, equally comfortable closing deals, coaching their team, and using technology and data to optimize performance.

Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Coaching
- Lead a team of ~5 account executives, providing hands-on training, call coaching, and performance management.
- Drive accountability to individual and team quotas, creating a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
- Jump in on sales calls as needed to model best practices and support team success.
Pipeline Ownership & Growth
- Own the inside sales funnel from lead response through close, ensuring timely follow-up and strong conversion rates.
- Track and analyze KPIs (response times, conversion rates, activity metrics) in partnership with Revenue Operations to guide team priorities and continuously improve.
- Partner with Marketing and Member Experience to improve lead quality and alignment.
Sales Enablement & Technology
- Champion sales tools (CRM, AI-enabled call coaching platforms like Gong, outreach automation, analytics dashboards) that improve rep effectiveness.
- Ensure consistent, effective use of Salesforce and other platforms to maintain visibility into team performance.
- Use insights from tools and data to inform coaching conversations, refine processes, and increase win rates.
Process & Strategy
- Standardize sales playbooks, call scripts, and cadences to drive consistency across the team.
- Identify friction points in the prospect journey and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to quarterly/annual planning with insights on team capacity, pipeline health, and technology needs.
- Flexibility to work outside of standard working hours, as needed.
- Performs related duties as requested
Experience
We believe extraordinary people come from a variety of backgrounds, but ideally we would expect that you have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in inside sales, with at least 2 years managing a sales team.
- Proven ability to lead teams that consistently exceed quota.
- Strong coaching and people leadership skills — able to inspire, develop, and hold teams accountable.
- Comfortable with data-driven decision-making; experience using CRM and sales enablement tools (Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, etc.).
- Tech-forward mindset with enthusiasm for applying new tools to enhance team performance.
- Experience in healthcare, luxury services, or hospitality is a plus, but not required.
Comp & Benefits:
Range: $135,000-$160,000 + 0.025% Commission on New Memberships + Equity
This is the range of pay for New York City candidates only. Sollis is a multi-state employer and this rate/range may not reflect the pay for positions that are performed solely in localities outside of this location. Furthermore, actual pay is dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, location, education, etc.
