As our Director of Business Development, you’ll play a key role in expanding referral relationships and driving growth through strategic partnerships. Working closely with the Chief Growth Officer and leadership team, you’ll identify opportunities, engage key stakeholders, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance clinical outcomes and community impact. This role supports our growing presence in Colorado and will be based in Denver.
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with physicians, practice leaders, office staff, and key community stakeholders.
- Strategic Growth: Lead market-level business development efforts, targeting key referral sources to drive patient access and provider engagement.
- Data-Driven Strategy: Evaluate the effectiveness of business development activities using performance metrics, feedback, and market insights.
- Marketing & Outreach: Execute community-focused marketing initiatives, including referral campaigns, digital and in-person outreach, and participation in trade shows and conferences.
- Community Representation: Serve as the face of Sol Mental Health, embodying our mission and values in all community interactions.
- Operational Efficiency: Recommend and implement improvements to marketing strategies and processes to optimize productivity and impact.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead meetings and outreach efforts with doctors, hospitals, and outpatient clinics, presenting clinical outcomes and value propositions.
- Strategic Initiatives: Oversee and execute high-impact business initiatives in collaboration with the Market leaders, Chief Growth Officer, and departmental leaders.
What You’ll Bring
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of healthcare experience, preferably field-based, calling on physician practices across various specialties. Experience selling in the mental health field a plus.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in building referral networks and improving business outcomes.
- CRM Expertise: 3+ years of experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Account Management: Strong skills in account management and stakeholder engagement.
- Creative Problem-Solving: A nimble, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on relationship development and innovative marketing strategies.
- Clinical Communication: Comfort in delivering clinical messaging and outcomes to diverse audiences.
- Networking & Leadership: Exceptional networking abilities and a passion for community engagement.
- Strategic Planning: Experience leading strategic initiatives and driving business growth.
Base salary range $120,000 - $160,000, dependent on experience.
