The Role:
The VP Finance is an experienced leader who is responsible for oversight of the finance function. The position will include accountability for financial analysis and strategic planning as well as expanding the reporting infrastructure for multi-state growth. The role will provide strategic financial leadership as a member of the senior team, overseeing financial planning, reporting, and analysis. They will build and scale the finance organization, develop dashboards for business insights, and evaluate growth opportunities including partnerships and M&A. Additionally, the VP of Finance will lead vendor negotiations, drive financial performance, and support fundraising efforts, and oversee accounting operations through leadership of the VP of Accounting.
The VP of Finance will be provided with a significant amount of autonomy to administer, coordinate, and control the financial function of the Company and will act as a key thought partner to the CEO and report into the CFO. The role will be the senior-most full time finance executive in the Company with room to grow into further leadership. The ideal candidate will be detailed oriented with an analytical mindset and experience in either a principal investing, advisory, or senior finance role in healthcare, with a deep understanding of multi-market healthcare delivery organizations.

Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Management Consulting, Strategic Finance, or similar analytical roles.
- 3+ years of management and supervisory experience.
- Experience in a financial management role, working with executive team and Board of Directors.
- Significant experience with multi-site, multi-market healthcare delivery organizations.
- Strong analytical mindset with expert financial modeling skills and ability to effectively translate data into actionable insights, strategies, and financial plans.
- Understanding of payor dynamics and reimbursement methodologies (Commercial, Medicare), along with knowledge of value-based contracting methodologies.
- High integrity leadership style with a positive outlook, collaborative mindset, and entrepreneurial spirit.
- A sense of flexibility and prioritization in juggling both long-term, strategic projects and ad hoc, urgent requests as needed in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality and consistent work product
- Strong ability to summarize, present, and communicate financial information and analyses.

Total cash compensation for the role (inclusive of bonus opportunity) is $240,000 – $300,000, with additional equity upside as part of the overall compensation package.
