Role Summary
Market-level operational and clinical leader for SOL’s psychiatric clinician cohort. Approximately 10-16 hours of direct patient care per week. Remaining time will focus on supervision of PMHNPs and PAs, including individual performance management and clinical supervision, expectation setting and adherence to SOL’s care model.
This position will be hybrid and require some in person presence at our centers in market (Frederick, MD, Gaithersburg, MD, Washington D.C., Tysons Corner, VA and Ballston, VA)
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality outpatient psychiatric care across in-person and telehealth settings.
- Serve as primary supervisor for psychiatric advanced practice clinicians (PMHNP, PA) including regular weekly individual supervision.
- Drive performance expectations including care model adherence, patient retention, schedule utilization, and clinical throughput.
- Conduct structured chart reviews, performance reviews, and targeted coaching plans.
- Establish clear expectations for documentation, communication, quality, and adherence to care standards.
- Lead onboarding and integration of new psychiatric clinicians.
- Partner with therapy supervisors to support integrated care workflows.
- Drive adoption of updated protocols, clinical pathways, and quality initiatives.
- Identify performance gaps early and implement corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with the Lead Psychiatrist on escalations, education, and standards alignment.
- Support hiring and clinician lifecycle management.
- Reinforce culture expectations across the psychiatric team.
Requirements
- Licensed PMHNP with active license in at least one of DC, MD, or VA; willing and able to cross-license.
- Eligible for DEA registration in DC, MD, and VA without restriction.
- Minimum two years of post-licensure clinical practice.
- Prior supervisory experience in a clinical nursing role.
- Demonstrated ability to drive performance and manage expectations across a clinician cohort.
- Strong operational discipline and comfort with data driven performance management.
