motivated SW Integration engineer to join our fast-growing team. As a part of the team that is responsible for the software integration and prototype development, you will have
the opportunities to:

1) Stay at the forefront with customers understanding the pressing problems facing the industry and the most advanced technologies required to solve them.
2) Apply your skillsets to build SW solutions creating immediate impact and help our customers as well as shaping the industry with solutions you build.
3) Play the most important role to help scale our products and grow Sonatus' business.

Role and Responsibilities

● Software Integration: Integrate software modules and SDK at the system or application level, and create POC(Proof of Concept) prototypes for demo purposes.
● Plan POCs baked on the scope for the customers, and estimate required works and effort to complete the POC and provide NRE estimate, and resource forecast. 
● Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, analyze, and resolve issues that arise during the software integration process, ensuring a smooth and reliable software system.
● Triage the customer reported technical issues, identify the domain of issues and assign them to the appropriate stakeholders accordingly.
● Demo and Presentation: Present solution using either demo SW or architecture presentation to customers and partners to showcase our product and technology advantages.
● Customer Management: Provide integration support for our customers, remotely and/or on-site when necessary.
● Manage customers’ feature requests, develop business relationships with customers, and play the Go-to-person for technical questions, issues, and resolutions.
● Vendor Management: Manage external resource vendors for applicable projects on the planning of scope, timing, and expected deliverables, and oversee the execution in progress.
● Act as a portal for technical communication between external customers/partners and our internal cross-functional teams
● Training and Onboarding: Leverage product documentations and create training materials and guiding documentations, to internally arm customer facing FAE and Sales teams, and externally onboard our customers and partners for using our products and solutions.
● Collaboration: Work closely with all cross-functional teams globally, including Sales, Product, Software developers, QA engineers, Technical program managers, and external customers to ensure success in promoting our products and solutions collectively.
● Performance Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of integrated systems, addressing any bottlenecks and ensuring the software runs efficiently.

Minimum Qualification and experiences

● A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with 7 or more years of working experience in data communication, networking, or automotive industry.
● Solid C/C++ and embedded system programming experience.
● Experience with Linux, Android, and/or other POSIX operating systems.
● Experience in systems integration, platform dependent integration and development, multithreading, and concurrent programming.
● Proficient in shell scripting languages and Python.
● Familiar with software architecture and end-to-end solutions.
● Familiarity with software configuration management tools, and defect tracking tools.
● Excellent presentation and communication skills.
● Able to travel up to 20% of the time.
● Fluent in Japanese communications

Nice to Have Skills and Knowledge

● Familiar with the Linux and QNX boot sequence.
● Familiar with bootloaders, Linux, and microcontroller image flashing.
● Familiar with networking technologies of Ethernet and CAN bus, and communication protocols of TCP/IP, HTTP, and MQTT.
● Familiar with vehicle E/E architecture and CAN network bus
