
Technical Sourcer (Contract)

Sonatus is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, with international locations in Ireland, France, Germany, Poland, Korea, China, India, Taiwan, and Japan. This is a hybrid position at our Sunnyvale office. You will report to the Talent Acquisition Director. This position is a 6-month contract position with the potential for full-time conversion, dependent on company need and personal performance.
The Opportunity
We’re seeking a motivated and resourceful Contract Technical Sourcer to support our growing Talent team at Sonatus. In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping us build world-class engineering teams by identifying and engaging top-tier technical talent. Roles & Responsibilities
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand technical role requirements and team dynamics
- Proactively source, engaged, and screen passive candidates for highly specialized roles globally (e.g., embedded systems, cloud infrastructure, AI engineering, automotive software)
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, conferences, and referrals
- Own outreach campaigns with a focus on compelling messaging and candidate experience
- Track candidate activity in our ATS (Greenhouse) and maintain data accuracy
- Support diversity-focused sourcing strategies to help drive Sonatus’ DEI goals
- Collaborate on talent mapping, market research, and competitive intelligence projects
- Help shape our sourcing strategies and tooling as we scale
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience sourcing technical talent, ideally in fast-paced environments or high-growth startups
- Familiarity with engineering roles across the stack and how to assess technical backgrounds
- Hands-on experience using sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter) and ATS platforms (Greenhouse preferred)
- Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach at scale
- Data-driven approach to sourcing and a passion for experimentation and improvement
- A collaborative mindset with a bias for action and ownership
- Experience hiring in international markets (e.g.,South Korea, Ireland, Canada, India specifically)
The posted salary range is a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate of what Sonatus ("Company") could reasonably expect to pay for this position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs. The Company reserves the right to modify this range in the future, as needed, as market conditions change.

$45 - $70 USD
