
People Operations Manager

Sonatus is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California with international locations in Ireland, France, Germany, Korea, China, India, Taiwan and Japan. This is a hybrid position at our Sunnyvale location. You will report to our Head of People.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a People Operations leader to own and drive our People Ops function. This person will be responsible for building and scaling people processes as a service, creating thoughtful, efficient systems that support our teams and culture as we grow.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement a streamlined onboarding process to ensure a positive new hire experience
- Build and maintain an internal HR Wiki to centralize policies, resources and processes
- Launch an HR ticketing system
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and take action based on feedback
- Build programs focused on employee retention and long-term engagement
- Lead the development of learning and development programs
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in People Operations in early-stage or scaling startups, with at least 1 year in a management capacity
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and familiarity with global employment law and compliance
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to thrive in a high-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of ambiguity
- A go-getter with a results-driven mindset – someone who can make decisions with limited information and drive change
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization
- Experience with immigration and employee benefits a plus

The posted salary range is a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate of what Sonatus ("Company") could reasonably expect to pay for a base salary for this position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs. The Company reserves the right to modify this range in the future, as needed, as market conditions change.

$150,000 - $175,000 USD
