  • Develop and Optimize Data Pipelines: Build and manage robust, scalable data pipelines using modern data processing tools to transform raw data into clean, analytics-ready datasets.
  • Define and Promote dbt Best Practices: Establish standards for modeling, testing, and documentation to ensure scalable and reliable data transformations.
  • Own and Evolve the Data Warehouse Architecture: Maintain and improve our data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake), ensuring performance, scalability, and alignment with evolving business needs.
  • Partner Cross-Functionally on Data Requirements: Work closely with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to gather data needs and translate them into effective data solutions and infrastructure improvements
  • Champion Data Quality and Governance: Implement and champion best practices in data validation, documentation, version control, and monitoring to establish strong trust and reliability in our data assets.
  • Mentor and Lead: Provide technical guidance and contribute to a culture of learning and collaboration within the broader data analytics team.

What does success look like?

  • Within one month, gain a solid understanding of our existing data infrastructure, key data sources, and reporting needs; establish strong working relationships with the Analytics and Data Engineering teams.
  • Within two months, contribute to the optimization of existing data pipelines and begin working on the design and implementation of new data models or transformations to support ongoing analytical projects.
  • Within three months, independently build and deploy reliable data pipelines, actively monitor data quality and performance, and contribute to the development of data documentation and best practices.

  • Data Advocate: You have a strong understanding of data quality, data governance, and data security best practices. You are passionate about ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility for all data consumers.
  • Problem Solver: You are adept at identifying data-related challenges, troubleshooting issues, and implementing effective solutions. You have a strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
  • Collaborative Partner: You work effectively with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data engineers, and business leaders. You communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-Oriented: You have a meticulous approach to data management and development, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all data-related work.
  • Drive for Efficiency: You are constantly looking for ways to optimize data pipelines, improve data processing performance, and automate repetitive tasks.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
