About the Role

We are looking for a quantitative and curious Analyst, Paid Media to support the growth and optimization of our diversified paid media portfolio.

At SonderMind, we’re transforming mental health care by making it more accessible, personalized, and effective. Paid acquisition is a critical component of how people discover, learn, and engage with SonderMind, and you’ll help steer that growth with data and insight.

Reporting to the Director of Performance Marketing, you will serve as the analytical engine of our growth marketing efforts. While the Managers drive channel strategy, you ensure the ecosystem is running smoothly. This is a hands-on role where you will manage cross-channel reporting integrity, execute tactical optimizations, and surface the granular data insights that fuel our broader growth strategy.

What you’ll do

  • Inform tactical optimizations. You will monitor daily performance across Google, Meta, TikTok, and other platforms, informing budgets and bid adjustments to ensure we are pacing correctly against our efficiency targets.
  • Own the reporting cadence. You will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our weekly performance trackers. You will analyze data in Looker and platform UIs to explain why performance trended up or down and how to react.
  • Interpret multi-touch attribution data. You will look beyond last-click measurement to understand the full path to conversion. You will analyze how upper-funnel impressions assist lower-funnel conversions to inform smarter budget allocation.
  • Drive creative performance analysis. You will go deep on asset performance; analyzing which video hooks, static images, or ad copy lines are performant. You will provide the feedback loop to our creative team to inform content iteration.
  • Ensure data and pixel integrity. You will conduct routine QA of our conversion tracking and audience lists, ensuring that signals (CAPI, Pixels, Tags) are passing correctly between our internal data structures and ad networks.
  • Support the testing roadmap. You will handle the tactical setup and monitoring of experiments (A/B tests, Lift Studies), ensuring they reach statistical significance before conclusions are drawn.

What does success look like?

  • 30 days: You are fully operational on daily SOPs and data taxonomy. You have familiarized yourself with our specific channel strategies and have internalized our full-funnel performance benchmarks for D2C.
  • 60 days: You have built a strong reporting muscle. You are delivering proactive, actionable insights to channel owners that are directly leading to campaign adjustments and performance wins.
  • 90 days: You are driving strategic efficiency through deep-dive analysis. You have taken ownership of a complex cross-channel project (e.g., an attribution model comparison or a creative fatigue study) that provides the data backing for a significant shift in budget allocation or strategy.

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in marketing analytics. You have direct experience analyzing both Paid Search (Google Ads) and Paid Social (Meta/TikTok).
  • 1+ years of experience with data modeling using SQL, Python, or a like language
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, attribution modeling, and reporting best practices
  • You can effectively interpret multiple data sets/views to gain a comprehensive picture of the cross-channel journey
  • High attention to detail across taxonomy and tracking, and apply a high level of rigor with data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Looker and Amplitude is a strong plus, but a willingness to learn these tools quickly is required.
  • You enjoy the process of going from problem to solution regardless of the medium
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Economics, or related field preferred.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
