About the Role

SonderMind is seeking a Partner Growth Associate to help unlock our next phase of growth by accelerating new client acquisition across our strategic partnerships. This highly cross-functional role will work across SonderMind’s Growth, Analytics, Product, Care Coordination, Customer Success, Billing, Provider, and external partner teams to drive scalable, data-informed growth within our newest, highest growth partnerships. As the Partner Growth Associate, you’ll blend operational hustle, relationship building, analytical rigor, and rapid experimenation to identify growth opportunities and bottlenecks, design and test pilots, and develop and optimize workflows that drive growth and an improved experience for our partners and clients.

You’ll be responsible for making sense of performance trends, translating complex data signals into actionable strategies that grow our most important partnerships while continually improving the customer journey. In many cases, you’ll be driving the testing and iteration yourself, spinning up and managing scrappy tests to inform deeper investments. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is an operator at heart, energized by forging connections, thrives in ambiguity, and takes pride in hitting ambitious targets that propel a business forward.

What you’ll do

  • Obsessively improve the partner experience: Identify and erase friction points across the client journey for our strategic partners. You’ll be an expert in the client experience across our strategic partnerships and teams will turn to you as an expert for ways we can continually move toward an improved care journey.
  • Execute on targets through driving conversion, client growth, and revenue across strategic partners: Serve as a cheerleader and owner of partner growth, hitting topline growth and conversion targets through being a “doer” yourself while also collaborating with other stakeholders. Uncover and drive high-impact, data-driven growth opportunities by blending performance and funnel metrics, partner feedback, and sound judgment.
  • Operationalize our partnerships so they’re ready to scale: Enable internal leadership & external partners to understand partnership health and measure success at a glance through developing dashboards and repeatable reporting processes. Institutionalize nascent processes to build a scalable foundation for rapid partner growth.
  • Be a connector: Build and nurture relationships across partners to uncover new conversion and growth opportunities. Use strong interpersonal instincts to develop trust quickly both internally and with external partners, open doors, and surface insights that drive smarter, faster execution.
  • Increase velocity of data-driven tests: Blend strategy and execution with analytical and technical rigor to lead early-stage design, testing, and implementation of pilots and workflows that improve the client experience for our partners.
  • Unlock new partner levers: Identify new partner growth opportunities through leveraging skills such as market sizing, light financial modeling, and data analysis.

What does success look like?

  • By month 1: You’re actively monitoring core performance indicators across key partners - including client acquisition, revenue trends, and conversion performance - to build a baseline understanding of what’s working and what’s not.
  • By month 2: You’re partnering cross-functionally across SonderMind’s internal teams and our partners to surface account-level insights and form a real-time perspective of each partnership’s unique dynamics. You are iterating on early initiatives designed to improve the partner care journey.
  • By month 3: Your early initiatives are showing measurable impact, and you’re scaling those interventions or onto the next ideas.
  • By month 6: You are the go-to person for your specific accounts, and you’ve designed and operationalized processes that are leveling up our partner growth playbook, enabling repeatable, scalable success - and contributing to hockey stick growth for our strategic partners.

Who You Are

  • 3 - 5 years of experience at a high-growth startup (ideally business operations, growth, or partnerships role) or management consulting
  • Biased toward action, with a passion for blending strategy and execution
  • Track record of achieving targets and improving operational workflows
  • Proven ability to translate insights into business action
  • Proven ability to nurture client and/or partner-facing relationships
  • Able to push initiatives forward while thriving in ambiguous, ever-evolving work environments
  • Strong analytical skills with deep experience in some combination of Excel / Gsheet modeling and data analysis, business analytics tools (e.g., Looker), and / or SQL
  • Experience at a high growth health tech startup is preferred
  • Experience working with data / analytics engineering & product teams is a plus
  • Seattle or Denver is a plus

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
