Role Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a vital role in driving our company’s revenue growth by generating and nurturing high-quality sales accepted leads (SALs). Your primary responsibility will be to identify and engage existing and potential customers, qualify prospects, and set up meetings for the sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission while advancing your career in the fast-paced cybersecurity industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation:
    • Proactively identify and research potential clients within target industries and organizations.
    • Use various tools and channels (email, phone calls, social media, etc.) to engage prospects.
  2. Qualifying Leads:
    • Conduct initial outreach to prospects and qualify them based on specific criteria (e.g., company size, needs, budget, and timeline).
    • Engage with potential clients to understand their challenges and determine whether they are a good fit for our cybersecurity solutions.
  3. Pipeline Development:
    • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads into the sales pipeline.
    • Maintain and update CRM with accurate and timely information on leads and sales opportunities.
  4. Collaboration with Sales Team:
    • Schedule qualified meetings and demos for the sales team, ensuring a smooth handoff and follow-up.
    • Provide relevant insights and context to the sales team to support successful lead conversion.
  5. Revenue Growth Contribution:
    • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly targets for lead generation and qualified meetings.
    • Contribute to the company’s overall revenue goals by generating high-quality leads that lead to closed deals.
  6. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, products, and industry news to effectively communicate our value proposition.
    • Participate in ongoing training to refine sales techniques and improve performance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 1-3 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or similar roles, preferably in cybersecurity, technology, or B2B industries.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex cybersecurity solutions to potential clients.
  • Sales Acumen:
    • Understanding of the sales process with a focus on prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting up meetings for the sales team.
  • Tech-Savvy:
    • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead generation platforms.
    • Knowledge of cybersecurity products and services is a plus but not required.
  • Results-Driven:
    • Ability to meet and exceed performance metrics (e.g., calls made, meetings scheduled, leads qualified).
  • Self-Motivated:
    • Proactive, goal-oriented, and eager to contribute to the growth of a dynamic company.
  • Team Player:
    • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with sales, marketing, and other internal teams.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
