Global Sales Enablement Manager / Coach

Job Overview:

SonicWall is seeking a Global Sales Enablement Manager  to develop and enhance the skills of our sales team. The ideal candidate will provide coaching, training, and mentoring to our sales professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to achieve their targets. This role will focus on driving sales excellence through facilitation, hands-on coaching, and the implementation of best practices tailored to cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Coaching and Enablement: Lead impactful coaching sessions that help sales representatives develop a deeper understanding of customer needs and align solutions accordingly. Facilitate skill development that allows reps to approach conversations with adaptability and purpose confidently.

Role-Playing and Scenario Practice: Facilitate real-world selling scenarios and role-play exercises to sharpen prospecting, objection-handling, and closing techniques.

Business Value Focus: Bring expertise in guiding sellers to help buyers prioritize achieving their business objectives, fostering a focus on discovering real business value and needs. Enable sellers to build meaningful relationships and partnerships with clients, making impactful contributions that inspire trust and encourage long-term collaboration.

Sales Process Optimization: Identify areas of improvement in the sales process and implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Performance Enhancement: Implement data-driven coaching methods and performance metrics to monitor individual and team progress, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with sales goals. Provide actionable insights that support sustained growth and empower reps to reach new performance heights.

Program Development and Facilitation: Design and lead tailored sales programs that foster a mindset centered on buyer needs and relationship-building. Facilitate interactive, hands-on sessions that encourage a consultative sales approach, equipping reps with the skills to engage prospects effectively. Stay current with the latest trends in sales coaching, facilitation techniques, and the cybersecurity industry to continually enhance training effectiveness.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Act as a strategic partner across departments, working with sales leadership, product, and marketing teams to align enablement initiatives with organizational objectives and sales targets. Serve as a bridge between sales and other departments, advocating for the sales team's needs to enhance overall success.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales coaching, sales enablement, or a related sales leadership role, preferably within the technology or cybersecurity sector.
  • Skills:
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in modern sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger Sales, Solution Selling).
  • Ability to motivate and inspire sales teams to meet and exceed their targets.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Technology: Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce), sales enablement tools, and learning management systems.

Certifications: Sales coaching certifications  (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Coach) and sales methodologies (Command of the Message) are a plus.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
