Test Associate Engineer

Responsibilities:

•  Learn Network Security technologies, product lines, testing opportunities, test workflow and existing test infrastructure.
• Prepare test plans; write and execute test cases; find, file and follow through defects through STLC.
•  Implement test automation (in functional and system testing), periodically run it and see that automated testing results and bugs go through complete STLC.
• Work on areas of productivity improvement and achieve results through automation • Constantly learn and champion new testing tools, technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of QA experience working with networking products and automation framework or CLI/API automation using open source tools.
• Fundamentals of SDLC and STLC process • Fundamentals of OOAD concepts.
•  Good aptitude for testing, exploration, troubleshooting, problem solving, multi-tasking and prioritisation.
• Must be a good team player; excellent oral and written communication skills, including listening skill.

Preferences:

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MS/M.Sc/MCA.
• Preferably computer science background
• Preferably automation background.
• Preferably from a networking/security company working on network security technologies.

 Education and Experience:

•  At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
•  BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MS/M.Sc/MCA or equivalent.
