Job Description

We are seeking a talented Client Software Engineer to join our team developing cloud-managed endpoint security applications. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of endpoint security software across multiple platforms, helping deliver secure and reliable experiences for our customers.

Our development environment spans Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and AWS cloud technologies, providing opportunities to work across a broad range of technologies while growing your expertise in cybersecurity and endpoint protection.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain client-side software for Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using C/C++, Golang, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with QA, product management, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues across multiple platforms.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
  • Help improve application performance, stability, and security.
  • Learn and apply modern software development tools, processes, and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development.
  • Good computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and system programming concepts.
  • Proficiency in C/C++.
  • Experience developing applications for Windows, macOS, or Linux.
  • Familiarity with Golang or willingness to learn and work with it.
  • Understanding of multithreaded programming, debugging, and software troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment.

Preferred

  • Experience developing system services or endpoint software on Windows or macOS.
  • Familiarity with Windows internals, security concepts, or driver development.
  • Familiarity with macOS system extensions, Endpoint Security Framework (ESF), Swift, or Objective-C.
  • Experience with cross-platform development and platform-specific APIs.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity or endpoint security products.
  • Familiarity with Vue3.js or other modern frontend frameworks.
  • Experience with mobile development (iOS or Android).
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
