About the Role

The Area Director leads a portfolio of surgical and consultation centers, driving sales performance, operational excellence, and an outstanding patient experience. This is a high-visibility, high-impact leadership role focused on revenue growth, team development, and consistent execution across locations.

You will build and inspire high-performing teams, hold centers accountable to KPIs, elevate the patient journey, and serve as a key connection between our field teams and the corporate organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Own revenue and surgery volume targets with accountability at both center and market level
  • Lead, coach, and inspire center leaders and cross-functional teams to exceed goals
  • Drive consistent execution of sales processes, operational standards, and clinical workflows
  • Analyze KPI scorecards to identify trends and opportunity areas; take action to accelerate results
  • Strengthen team culture, performance, and talent development across locations
  • Partner with senior leadership to influence strategy and represent field priorities
  • Monitor and elevate patient satisfaction, address escalations promptly and professionally
  • Share best practices and foster a “One Team” culture across all markets and functions
  • Travel across your designated region (average ~60%) to support centers and teams

What You Bring

  • Proven success leading sales teams to exceed multi-unit revenue goals (required)
  • Experience managing operational performance across multiple locations (preferred)
  • History of developing leaders and high-performing teams; strong performance-management discipline
  • Strong command of KPI management, forecasting, and performance analytics
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and influencing abilities across diverse personalities and roles
  • Organizational excellence with the ability to prioritize, pivot when needed, and execute consistently
  • Confident, composed leadership style - calm under pressure, solutions-oriented, and energizing to others
  • “Player-coach” mindset - willing to lead from the front and jump in where needed
  • Passion for our mission and a positive, high-standards, growth-oriented mindset

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $80,000
  • Performance incentive plan with On-Target Earnings (OTE) $200,000+
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and 401(k)

Compensation Range

$80,000 - $200,000 USD

Pay may vary by location, and actual compensation depends on factors like qualifications, experience, skills, and business needs. Sono Bello may adjust this range in the future. Full-time employees may also receive benefits such as incentives, equity, health coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
