This position is hybrid and based on-site in the Greater Seattle Area.

SUMMARY

The HR Business Partner will facilitate and manage employee relations and is responsible for promoting healthy relationships and engagement across all locations of our multi-unit model.  This position is responsible for aligning business objectives with team members and management in designated locations. The HR Business Partner will formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and team members that reflects the business objectives of the organization. This role will be involved with a broad spectrum of our people processes and will support the development of a culture that engenders engagement and effectiveness.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by providing coaching and guidance on people processes, culture, policies, and standards.
  • Builds trusted partnerships with leaders through consultative and collaborative efforts to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of people programs and services that support development and capabilities or our talent.
  • Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with respective location leaders.
  • Using general discretion, assist managers and team members by providing coaching and guidance on performance-related issues and policy interpretation.
  • Support performance management processes, with a focus on evolving consistent feedback.
  • Contribute to the creation and measurement of KPIs.
  • Advise and assist corrective action matters inclusive of terminations and providing direction to management staff and team members.
  • Acts as an agent of change and steward of culture in all transformational initiatives.
  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual leadership coaching needs.
  • Supports the creation of learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for leaders and team members.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills including above average proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to ascertain and identify potential problems, recommend solutions, and address common conflict.
  • Demonstrated a high level of initiative, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of two to five years of experience as an HR Generalist, Business Partner or similar capacity resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Experience in multi-state operations with preference given to multi-unit experience in client facing HR roles.
  • Prior experience and demonstrated ability to conduct investigations.
  • Previous experience with HRIS/HRMS with preference given to UltiPro.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
  • SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

COMPENSATION:

At Sono Bello, we believe that our team members are the keys to our success. The compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 depending on experience.

Compensation Range

$100,000 - $125,000 USD

Pay may vary by location, and actual compensation depends on factors like qualifications, experience, skills, and business needs. Sono Bello may adjust this range in the future. Full-time employees may also receive benefits such as incentives, equity, health coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.

Benefits Package includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K, EAP, PTO, and Paid Holidays. (Benefits eligibility may vary based on employment status.)
