Seeking a robust and versatile Systems Administrator I. You'll be joining a technical team passionate about administering, building, and delivering security compliance & remediation solutions that continues to empower PlayStation Studios.

As a compliance and remediation specialist, you will be part of an Information Technology team responsible for operating and contributing to the security posture improvement of PlayStation Studio endpoints in a fast paced, ambitious development environment.

This role will entail operational and project-based work across SIE Studio IT departments, as well as global business units in SIE and Sony operating companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Rapid creation, testing, and deploying of scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc) to install, uninstall, or update vulnerable software on thousands of clients.
  • Installing, testing, administering, and fixing system security remediation solutions ensuring that PlayStation Studios endpoints meet a 95% compliance requirement.
  • Updating Windows, Linux and Mac software and operating systems with required patches and ensuring the proper defenses are present for each system and network resource.
  • Performing vulnerability remediation tasks, identifying, and defending against threats using in-house security tools and practices.
  • Managing existing security systems, processes, analyzing security requirements, and recommending improvements.
  • Configuring and supporting security tools, such as systems, vulnerability, and anti-virus software.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with IT team members, managers, and executives about the best security practices and technical advice.

Requirements

  • Solid background in Windows Server 2016, Windows 10 - and later.
  • Working basis in networking fundamentals
  • Experience with scripting languages and automation using PowerShell or Python
  • Advanced PowerShell knowledge regarding system and program management and administration.
  • Experience in automated Windows deployment
  • 2+ years of relevant IT experience in a similar role.
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced training certifications are a plus.
  • Linux/Unix certification and experience is a plus.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Please note that the individual base pay range may vary based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

This is a flexible role that can be remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below, this is an hourly rate.

$47.02 - $70.48 USD
