Sr. Revenue Operations Manager - Licensed Merchandise
San Mateo, CA (hybrid) 

The Team: 

The Global Licensed Merchandise team aims to connect fans with high-quality products inspired by the games and characters they love. We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Sr. Revenue Operations Manager – Licensed Merchandise, a key role that ensures the operational excellence and financial health of our business.  

The Role:  

You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and optimizing operational processes for PlayStation’s global licensed merchandise portfolio. Critical thinking, attention to detail, and collaboration with global teams are essential in this role to ensure the seamless execution of financial operations. With experience in licensing, consumer products, and revenue operations, you’ll bring your expertise to streamline workflows, manage data integrity, and enable informed decision-making across key regions (Americas, Europe, Asia).  

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Revenue Management & Optimization: Be responsible for end-to-end revenue operations processes, ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis of licensed merchandise revenue streams, like Royalties and Guarantees.  
  • Data Integrity & Reporting: Use, maintain, and enhance data systems for accurate and consistent financial reporting; prepare insights and recommendations for stakeholders.  
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to reduce inefficiencies and improve cross-departmental coordination.  
  • Collaboration & Communication: Partner with licensing, finance, legal, and external partners to align revenue goals, and resolve discrepancies.  
  • Forecasting & Analysis: Develop and refine revenue forecasting models in collaboration with Commercial Finance and Licensed Merchandise teams; analyze sales performance to identify growth opportunities and risks.  
  • Compliance & Contracts: Ensure compliance with contractual agreements, royalty structures, and licensing terms. Perform contract audits with partners to ensure accuracy of reported revenue and outstanding payments.  
  • Systems & Tools: Work with internal and external tools and platforms to optimize revenue operations; evaluate and recommend innovative technologies to enhance productivity.  

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, operations, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.  
  • 8+ years of experience in revenue operations, licensing, consumer products, or a related role, preferably within the entertainment, gaming, or CPG industry.  
  • Proven expertise in data analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting.  
  • Strong proficiency in revenue management tools, CRM platforms, and Excel/Google Sheets.  
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a driver of continuous improvement.  
  • Ability to communicate and engage to build strong relationships across teams.  
  • Diligent, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$148,200 - $222,400 USD
