As a Solution Architect, you’ll help define and shape technology strategies within the Enterprise Enablement domain, which includes business planning, supply chain, operations, finance, HR, and productivity services. You’ll work with business and IT leaders to develop solution architectures, guide implementation teams, and ensure alignment with our technology roadmap.

What you'll be doing:

Enterprise Architecture & Strategy

  • Define the target state architecture for areas of enterprise enablement, linking business capabilities with technology strategies.
  • Assess current systems and recommend modernization and optimization approaches.
  • Develop and evolve architectural models and roadmaps with technology and business teams.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact.
  • Participate in proof of concepts (PoCs) to assess new technology opportunities.

Solution Architecture

  • Develop solution architectures for multi-phase change programs.
  • Explore and assess solution options with vendors, analysts, and internal teams.
  • Define current and future state architectures, outlining transition steps.
  • Identify key design decisions and collaborate with partners.
  • Present solution recommendations to decision-making groups.

Governance & Best Practices

  • Ensure compliance with SIE architecture principles, standards, and frameworks.
  • Produce high-quality architectural documentation that explains solutions, options, and decisions.
  • Review and approve solution designs for alignment with the future state architecture.
  • Apply architecture governance processes to assure design conformance to your defined architecture

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with engineering, security, data and AI teams to solve architectural challenges.
  • Build strong supplier relationships to enhance technology investments.
  • Mentor junior architects and contribute to best practices across Sony’s architecture teams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect working on corporate platforms (e.g., ERP, HR systems).
  • Experience in designing scalable, reliable, and cost-effective enterprise solutions.
  • Architecting solutions for two of sales, operations, finance, or HR systems.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to implement architectures.
  • Communicating complex IT concepts to both technical and business audiences.
  • Evaluating solutions through RFIs, RFPs, PoCs, and blueprinting.
  • Proven in applying enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g Archimate)
  • Experienced in architecture modelling in tool (e.g. Bizzdesign)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Experience in solution design, software development, or business analysis.
  • Worked with global, multi-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4 ERP, Workday, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of integration technologies (e.g., Ab Initio, Mulesoft) and data architecture (e.g., Snowflake, Tableau, Microstrategy).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and AI/ML enablement.
