We're looking for a Platform Engineer with proven experience in modern software delivery who loves crafting efficient, flexible and low friction systems to manage workloads at a global scale. Responsibilities

  • Development and Implementation of our internal infrastructure platform
  • Experience working with and adapting monitoring tools to work on a large scale with the mindset of building validation patterns
  • Improving Reliability, Performance and Feature Set of the infrastructure platform based on customer needs
  • Identifying and diagnosing issues in deployments together with software development teams

Requirements

  • Proven knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, deployment, and operations.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with a modern object-oriented programming language, preferably Go.
  • Ability to learn from a fast moving team and constantly evolving technology
  • Experience with Linux system tooling and troubleshooting
  • Experience with modern CI Platforms (preferably GitHub actions or GitLab CI) and GitOps deployment methodologies

Skills & Knowledge

  • Ability to support engineers with solving problems in integrating their systems with core Kubernetes components
  • Excitement with integrating with globally distributed large scale Private and Public Cloud Environments
  • Familiar knowledge working with bare metal systems on premise or in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiar with IAC concepts, design and implementation
  • Experience with the Prometheus/Grafana monitoring ecosystem

  • Must be self starter who understands that ownership means distributing the knowledge of your work so that everyone benefits
  • Being a Contributor to Open Source Software is a plus
