Role overview:
The PlayStation Store & Services Marketing team is responsible for marketing our flagship PlayStation Plus subscription service, and PlayStation’s multi-billion-dollar D2C businesses (PlayStation Store and PlayStation Direct).
This role is a pivotal leadership role in the team accountable for the strategic implementation of performance focused marketing, dedicated to driving profitable business growth by harvesting incremental demand & driving recurring relationships through successfully delivering customer outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
- Leadership & Team Development: Build, mentor, and manage a team of marketing managers and senior managers, operating across multiple geographic regions
- End-to-End Campaign Management: Oversee the execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns for Stores and Services, ensuring excellence across all touchpoints. Lead the design, planning, and execution of go-to-market strategies for campaigns and promotions, utilizing both Paid and Owned/Operated channels.
- Campaign Automation: Work with cross functional teams to build automation capabilities (i.e DCO) that will enable the robust & fast deliver of campaigns to the relevant channels for execution
- Campaign optimisation: Collaborate with the Performance Management function to find opportunities to optimise creative & campaign/promotions performance
- Revenue Growth: Drive multi-million-dollar incremental performance by supporting innovative promotional activities and campaigns.
- Brand Articulation: Responsible for the articulation, orchestration of the value proposition, brand positioning & point of differentiation for our Store & Services businesses, and how best to convey this to our customers by creating compelling marketing campaigns and meaningful activations to bring our value proposition to life
- Creative Development: Collaborate with Brand teams, agencies and in-house creative teams to create global brand and creative toolkits for Stores and Services
- Brand Stewardship: Serve as the brand guardian for Store & Services, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand identity to all campaigns
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Responsible for partnering with broader marketing teams to evangelise PS store & services in everything we do across the organisation
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary marketing lead and point of contact for horizontal delivery stakeholder groups, engaging with senior leaders from manager to SVP level.
- Consumer Insight Alignment: Work with consumer insights teams to ensure campaigns, brand positioning, and go-to-market strategies align with customer expectations and preferences.
What we're looking for:
- 15+ years in marketing roles preferably across Gaming/Entrainment vertical in creative or performance roles
- A history of successfully operating in complex global organisations and being able to influence growth
- Accomplished in setting up/enhancing processes for campaign or creative delivery at scale (multi market/product)
- Experience with Dynamic content optimisation & creative/campaign automation tools
- A strong leader who has managed geographically dispersed team
