Join SIE's Technical Operations team to maintain platform availability and enable product features. Coordinate operations, deployment, and engineering projects across global teams.

We work to continuously improve processes, setting benchmarks for operational excellence. As a senior project manager, you'll lead technical advancements in processes and technology.

  • You will influence teams that craft, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve critical infrastructure systems with a focus on network and data centers.
  • You will work with key partners on gathering requirements, identifying risks, lead schedules, and communicating the status across the organization.
  • You will also collaborate with both internal and external teams to establish project achievements, schedules, deliverables, and the progress of various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead and communicate end-to-end project plans with collaborators and teams. Perform day to day project check-ins and updates to manage project delivery and quality.
  • Problem solving within fast-paced and constantly evolving environments, with the ability to bring order to ambiguous scenarios.
  • Develop and own communication plans for communicating project status, big picture, challenges, and risks to partners effectively and proactively.
  • Collaborate with other teams to collect data center expansion and product roadmap requirements for delivering capacity, facilities, and projects aligned with broader SIE and PlayStation objectives.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Requires 5 years' experience + Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years + Master’s degree; or equivalent experience as Project Manager leading multiple technical projects simultaneously including; physical data center and PoP expansions and deployments.
  • Demonstrates excellent project management skills by tracking, reporting, and resolving project issues efficiently.
  • Be a trusted partner to assigned business units by building domain expertise, understanding their rhythm of business, and offering balanced advisory.
  • Proficiency with process management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
  • Superb communication and organizational skills with the willingness and ability to work with multiple teams located in different regions and time zones.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals incorporating external partners.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently under pressure, prioritize, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who can balance problems efficiently and keen to respond with the appropriate level of urgency to situations.
  • Independent problem-solving skills and ability to run parallel tasks and accurately detail resolutions.
  • Ability to prioritize well and articulate your product roadmap across business functions and geographies, whether in small group discussions or large-scale presentation.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM certifications.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$136,300 - $204,500 USD
