Manager, Commercial Planning

Sao Paulo, Brazil (Hybrid)

The Manager, Commercial Planning will support demand forecasting across all PlayStation Categories (Hardware, Software and Peripherals) for the Latin America Region. In this role, you will collaborate with cross functional teams across Global, Americas, and local Latin American markets to contribute to a robust, consensus based demand plan. This position plays an important role in aligning demand with supply, improving forecast accuracy, supporting new product introductions, and driving S&OP processes to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, PlayStation LATAM, this role supports key planning activities and offers visibility into strategic decision-making.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and coach a regional commercial planning team, fostering collaboration, development, and performance excellence.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of short- and long-term demand forecasts at product, category, and channel levels, using historical data, market trends, and promotional inputs.
  • Support the S&OP process by working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.
  • Act as a key liaison between regional sales teams, marketing, and operations to maintain coordinated and well-informed demand plans.
  • Assist in building the yearly budget, quarterly forecast and monthly flash sales plans and follow its performance, reporting and explain variances.
  • Support executive-level reporting and presentations with accurate and insightful forecasting data.
  • Engage with channel teams to collaborate on forecasting and obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
  • Monitor assumptions, risks, and opportunities impacting the demand plan, and communicate implications as needed.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate results.
  • Coordinate with Global and Americas planning teams to communicate market requirements and updates.
  • Support Sales, MKT and Head of Sales on ad-hoc analysis to run the business. Manage day to day sales and planning operation.
  • Improve data quality by ongoing validation & follow up of sell-out and sell-through.
  • Understand new product introduction roadmaps to manage product transitions.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Operations or Sales Planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering or related fiel
  • Past experience directly managing and developing a team while delivering strong business outcomes
  • Solid understanding of forecasting processes, S&OP, and commercial planning.
  • Familiarity with planning tools such as SAP/IBP.
  • Highly analytical, data-driven decision maker with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets (both qualitative and quantitative) and present findings clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Enthusiastic and confident team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to connect and collaborate effectively across diverse teams. Brings an innovative mindset and learns quickly in dynamic environments.
  • Clear and concise written skills. Ability to concept, write and develop persuasive, organized presentations.
  • High level of organization and flexibility to deal with urgent requests.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual in English is a must (Spanish is a plus).
