***Working Location: This role is hybrid/onsite at our San Diego office.***

The Studio IT team is obsessed with great customer service and meeting the demands of the game production environment. It requires organization, enthusiasm, and a drive to exceed expectations. While this is not a direct tech support role, the Studio IT Coordinator will bring together the efforts of the team at large to meet specific goals and deliverables, as well as map processes and establish documentation, so we continue to improve. This role will be expected to establish meaningful analytics to illustrate the effectiveness of the team.

The operations of a multi-project team are complex and often conflicting. This role will help manage the demands of the team, between reactive requests and project deliverables. It will require coordination of many layers of time sensitive logistics while making sure key stakeholders are communicated with. Some of these logistics are directly operational, helping with ticket queues and service level agreements feeding indicative metrics on overall team performance. Other areas are more project and initiative based, involving the focus of resources to meet specific goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the IT Site Managers and on-site support teams to collect updates on prioritized initiatives.
  • Drive Studio IT sites to deliver common project goals and deliverables.
  • Champion communication and coordination between Studio IT sites.
  • Prepare reports and presentations that promote Studio IT accomplishments and performance to customers and internal parts of the IT Organization. This will include a quarterly report card, annual accomplishments, and specific project-related summaries that focus on KPIs and metrics.
  • Work with the Studio IT Director to ensure general policies and procedures are defined across all SIE-managed studio sites. Help create and maintain a documentation catalog of services, procedures, and policies in use across the Studio IT landscape.
  • Escort complex service tasks for high level engagements through existing process and the appropriate teams as necessary while calling out and navigating challenges.
  • Set expectations and communicate to project stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Help develop and maintain life cycle management processes with SIE-managed studios, with a goal of the team being able to manage an accurate inventory of IT assets and licenses for supported users.
  • Gathering requirements from Studio IT management, identify and tackle opportunities for process mapping, documentation, and improvement.
  • Report on  internal initiative tasks, developing performance reports and dashboards in various reporting tools for various stakeholders.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving process of IT Assets to and from remote locations.
  • Help facilitate the onboarding and offboarding process with supported teams.

  • Finely-tuned communication skills with varying dialects, based on audience and context.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced, often chaotic IT environments in the entertainment industry.
  • Technical aptitude with available organizational tools, ITSM, Project Planning, Reporting, Brainstorming, Documentation and strong skills in the tools to illustrate and organize data: Powerpoint, Excel, Tableau, Sharepoint, Miro, Trello, Service Now, etc.
  • Familiarity with technology basics, knowledge of concepts, enthusiasm for potential, but respect for limitations.
  • 4+ years of “project management" or “operations” experience, preferably in a production environment.
  • Innovative and driven personality who desires to be part of a dynamic team that is in high demand.
  • Strong personality who thrives in being a positive influence for change in a change-resistant setting.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$111,700 - $167,500 USD
