Role: Finance Analyst – Portfolio Management (P3) 

We are seeking an Analyst, Finance Portfolio who will be part of a team responsible for portfolio and performance management for our first party games.   

This involves tracking performance, mid and long-term financial planning, financial modelling, reporting and analysis to support long-term investment decisions. This position will report to the Manager of Finance Portfolio.  

What you’ll be doing: 

Performance Management:  

  • Support the financial performance management framework for Studio Business Group by analysing portfolio performance using advanced KPIs, metrics and data visualization tools. 
  • Analyse performance indicators to determine overall studio and portfolio health; assess title performance against targets.  
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to provide a complete view of studios and portfolio health in Quarterly Business Reviews.  

Mid- and Long-Term Financial Portfolio Planning:  

  • Support the portfolio management process for long-term investment decisions. 
  • Perform financial modelling and provide financial insights, risk assessment and trusted advice. Evaluate portfolio scenarios in relation to the financial goals. 
  • Work with portfolio team and business partners to identify and assist in evaluating portfolio candidates. 
  • Work with studio heads, leadership and business partners to identify and scope out title specific goals and KPIs.  
  • Support the financial planning and analysis processes for mid-range planning (MRP) as well as long-range planning (LRP).  
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis for the leadership team and support business decision-making at any stage of title lifecycle.  

Continuous Improvement:  

  • Identify and support improvements in financial reporting and analysis processes. Support finance improvement projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of gaming industry trends and conduct benchmarking analyses. Stay informed about broader industry developments and key business metrics to provide relevant insights.  

What we’re looking for:  

  • BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience within financial portfolio management, financial modelling, and/or financial planning & analysis (FP&A). Proven track record in managing complex financial analyses and reporting. 
  • Experience with developing sophisticated financial analysis, modelling, budgeting and reporting/dashboarding tools. 
  • Experience in gaming/entertainment industry and/or in consulting; the role will require an understanding of challenges and dynamics of operating a portfolio performance framework. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. 
  • Strong data analysis and financial modelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. 
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, planning and data analysis tools.
