Senior Tools Engineer 
Join our growing engineering team as a Senior Tools Engineer, where you'll take the lead in designing and delivering scalable, high-impact tools that support Developer & QA productivity across multiple PlayStation Studios titles. This role is ideal for an experienced developer who thrives on solving complex problems, driving cross-team initiatives, and mentoring others. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to shape global tooling strategy and ensure our solutions meet the evolving needs of the business. If you're passionate about building developer-focused tools and improving workflows at scale, this role offers the perfect opportunity to make a lasting impact. 
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain tools and solutions to improve Developer & QA team efficiency and productivity.
 - Partner with Product Owners to clarify customer needs and translate them into effective solutions.
 - Demo prototypes and in-progress tools to stakeholders, incorporating feedback in iterative cycles.
 - Ensure that tool outputs support accurate data reporting on availability, utilization, and QA metrics.
 - Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and drive best practices across QA engineering workflows.
 - Shadow QA teams to identify process bottlenecks and propose technical mitigations.
 - Act as a point of contact for toolset status across titles and locations.
 
Requirements
- At least 5 - 8 years’ experience in software engineering using C# or Java.
 - Experience with SQL or other relational databases (querying, reporting, and maintenance).
 - Proficient in both front-end and back-end web development.
 - Excellent understanding of computers, Windows OS, and networked environments.
 - Strong analytical thinker with initiative and a problem-solving mindset.
 - Autonomous, self-driven, and capable of handling multiple priorities.
 - Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
 - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
 - Passion for the gaming industry and continuous improvement of player experiences.
 - Strong task management skill
