Marketing Brand Specialist | Global Games Marketing 

San Mateo, CA (Hybrid) 

 

We are looking for a Marketing Brand Specialist to join the global brand marketing team. This role will report to the Brand Manager on the Global Games Marketing team.  

 

This role will be responsible for tactical support and execution of marketing and commercial activities for upcoming games across multiple devices and platforms. The position requires high levels of organization, collaboration, and communication. Applicants for this position should be highly organized, adaptive, and self-sufficient professionals who have the desire to develop expertise in the planning and execution of global marketing campaigns. 

 

Responsibilities  

  • Project Management & Execution: Coordinate and track marketing projects from planning through completion, maintaining timelines, monitoring deliverables, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time execution and clear communication with stakeholders. 
  • Asset Management and Coordination: Brief in global tactical plans and assets for development and localization, working with internal and external creative and media agencies. Track development, feedback, and audit assets prior to distributing to Global Marketing, Global Horizontal Teams, Territory Marketing Teams, and internal digital asset management system. 
  • Global Compliance Reviews: Manage global asset submissions to international and local review teams, as well as compliance groups for feedback and clearances. Manage ESRB and Legal reviews of assets. Collate and return collective feedback to stakeholders. 
  • Storefront Coordination: Work with Global Brand Managers to manage and audit storefront updates and optimization across PS5 and PC, including asset management, copy updates, and storefront merchandising in partnership with platform teams for game updates and promotional activities. 
  • Integrated Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with internal horizontal teams to develop and review marketing tactics to support the Games Marketing strategy and live service season campaign, including media, social, CRM, and retail channels. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders to gather, reconcile, and summarize feedback. 
  • Experience and understanding of basic business operations and marketing principles with critical thinking and prioritization skills. 
  • Experience contributing to and/or leading go-to-market campaigns. 
  • Experience working with creative and media agencies is preferred. 
  • Maintain confidentiality with privileged information. 
  • Excellent collaboration skills, working well with others in high-pressure environments. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience presenting to partners at multiple levels and ability to distill information into clear plans and actions. 
  • Excellent organizational skills. 
  • Ability to concurrently manage multiple projects in different stages and drive to completion under self-direction. Strong tracking and follow-up skills. 
  • Deep knowledge of games on multiple platforms including live service and mobile games preferred  
  • Passion for marketing, gaming, and video game culture. 

  

Related experience/education:  

  • 2+ years of business and/or administrative experience. Marketing experience preferred. 
  • BA/BS degree
