Sales Systems Analyst (contract)

The Sales Systems Analyst role at PlayStation is an outstanding chance to join a leading team in San Mateo, CA. You will be key in managing and improving our main sales applications. Your work will maintain data accuracy and provide clear, useful business insights that support decision-making throughout the company. This position suits someone ambitious, highly skilled, and who enjoys working in a cooperative setting.

Key Responsibilities

Business Tools & Data Management

  • Manage and maintain core sales applications, including SAP IBP and Alloy.ai, ensuring efficient performance and user experience.

  • Coordinate system upgrades, refreshes, and integrations to ensure operational continuity and data integrity.

  • Respond to end-user support requests, providing timely solutions aligned with guidelines and business priorities.

  • Manage user access and roles, ensuring appropriate segregation of duties and compliance with governance standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system and integration issues.

  • Partner with collaborators to identify, scope, and implement system enhancements, updates, and improvements.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation; conduct user training to drive adoption and proficiency.

  • Support data analysis, audits, and reporting activities to maintain high-quality, reliable data.

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data imports/exports and maintain data processes across systems.

  • Participate in system-related projects and initiatives as needed.

Business Reporting

  • Lead the creation, prioritization, and delivery of reporting and analytics solutions based on existing requirements and business needs.

  • Recommend improvements to reporting methods, processes, and tools to improve the value and accessibility of business insights.

  • Maintain elevated standards of data accuracy and availability across systems and reports.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to internal collaborators on effective reporting and analytics methods.

Business Planning

  • Support and analyze regional retailer and distributor forecast plans to align with company financial objectives.

  • Lead the maintenance of weekly, monthly, and annual field plans within SAP IBP, enabling a data-driven business model.

  • Provide project leadership for small to medium cross-functional initiatives, including meeting facilitation, documentation, and system upkeep.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in business systems management, sales operations, or data analysis.

  • Hands-on experience with IBP, Alloy, or similar planning and analytics tools preferred.

  • Strong understanding of data management principles, system integrations, and reporting frameworks.

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, HTML, or Python.

  • Advanced Excel and data visualization skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, DOMO) is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize effectively and collaborate in a cross-functional environment.

At SIE, working with our partners, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. 

Please note that the individual base pay range may vary based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below, this is an hourly rate.

$60 - $70 USD
