Coordinate MLB The Show’s Influencer, Content Creator, Esports, & UGC Creator relationships and initiatives

Overview

San Diego Studio, maker of MLB The Show, is looking to add a Creator Programming Coordinator to our All-Star line-up.

We are looking for a Creator Programming Coordinator to join our award-winning team.  As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most respected developers in the industry, most enthusiastic community members, and on some of the most exciting AAA games for PlayStation. In this role, the Creator Programming Coordinator will be intricate in Content Creator, Esports, Influencer, & UGC Content programs. With community satisfaction as the priority, creativity and organization will be the keys to success.

You will bring passion to the role of Creator Programming Coordinator, collaborating with our community experience and game development teams, organizing sonically rich content that pushes the industry quality bar.

Responsibilities

  • Be an integral part of a team that advocates & maintains the vision on behalf of all Creator programming, ensuring development priorities are informed based on this input
  • Communicate directly with different types of Creators, building strong relationships and maintaining a visible external presence through all internal/external verified communication channels
  • Develop guidelines and expectations for different program collaborations in coordination with our Partnership Marketing team
  • Project manage (creating, planning, supporting, and executing) various Creator initiatives, programs, and events, including identifying new communities for relationship expansion
  • Lead proposals, define goals & set standards for Creators/Esports Ambassadors, helping to support who becomes part of the programming and maintaining those relationships & guidelines
  • Collaborate with the studio and content creators to facilitate content production
  • Overseeing Data & Analytics for Creator Programming activations, statistics and report results
  • Build rapport, communicate, monitor, and acknowledge community efforts & build trust through transparency with our Creators
  • Manage calendars and priorities, share calendars across cross-functional teams, and schedule resources for the different Creator Programs
  • Work with Sony relevant teams to vet, collaborate, involve, and plan for Creators throughout Social & Marketing strategies
  • Discover & develop new Influencer talent that are as diverse as our player base
  • Create and maintain assets, media kit, and messaging for Creators to utilize
  • Understand and advocate for our Esports program & support the evolution of the sport
  • Manage cross-team relationships, cross-team meetings, task list/deliverables, and documentation as it pertains to Creator initiatives
  • Learn new trends & test new tactics to improve our practices

Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience managing different types of Creators or third-party partnerships
  • A passion for video games and gaming communities
  • A fan of baseball who can talk to and understand other baseball fans
  • Experience and interest in Esports programming
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Interpersonal skills – Friendliness, diplomacy, and ability to work as a team for mutual benefit
  • Understanding the day-to-day needs, emotions, and motivations of our Creators
  • Must solve routine problems effectively and react with appropriate urgency and level-headedness to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround
  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Familiarity of corporate operations, approvals, and brand safety
  • Must be able to define and execute event and promotions strategies in relation to Creators
  • Experience with effectively allocating resources to ensure completion of plans
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or related fields or equivalent work experience

At SIE, working with our partners, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. 

Please note that the individual base pay range may vary based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below, this is an hourly rate.

$20.68 - $37.23 USD
