Role Overview

The Senior Commercial Manager for CASSA (Central America & Spanish Speaking South America) will lead the commercial strategy and execution for PlayStation across 14 markets. This role will own omnichannel sales strategy, distributor and retailer management, promotional execution, and business performance across a complex multi-country region.

Operating through a distributor-led model, CASSA requires a senior commercial leader who can manage market complexity, align internal and external stakeholders, and drive profitable growth while ensuring consistent PlayStation execution across all markets. The role will also lead and develop a team of Commercial Managers and Channel Experience professionals, building clear accountability, strong execution discipline, and effective market support.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, commercially driven leader with strong business ownership, analytical capability, strategic thinking, and execution discipline. This person, should be highly collaborative, comfortable influencing across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Demand Planning, Channel Experience, distributors, retailers, and senior stakeholders, and able to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, matrixed, and dynamic market environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial strategy and sales performance for the CASSA region across 14 markets, ensuring delivery of PlayStation business goals.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the CASSA commercial team, building strong capabilities, accountability, and execution discipline.
  • Develop annual, seasonal, monthly, and weekly sales plans and targets, identifying growth opportunities across markets, channels, partners, and product categories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key commercial partners to drive business performance, brand presence, and sell-through.
  • Lead Joint Business Planning with strategic partners, aligning targets, investments, promotional plans, execution priorities, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Manage promotional budgets, and value-chain economics through a strong understanding of market pricing, competitive dynamics, FX impact, import costs, and distributor margins.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews, strategic recommendations, and executive-level presentations to regional and senior leadership teams.
  • Develop and support high-impact commercial initiatives, retail marketing campaigns, and partner programs that grow market share in a profitable way.
  • Maintain and share a strong understanding of the CASSA industry and distribution landscape, including competition, retailers, distributors, channel dynamics, and consumer trends.
  • Implement and evaluate effective retail marketing campaigns in partnership with Marketing and Channel Experience teams.

 

Requirements:

 

  • 12+ years of related experience in sales, commercial management, product management, category management, or business management.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or related field. MBA or postgraduate degree preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience leading multi-market or regional commercial businesses.
  • Experience managing retailers, distributors, commercial partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to understand and articulate market performance, analyze business drivers, and develop optimized commercial solutions, including tailored promotions and campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute against a strategic vision while activating tactical initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and drive strong business results.
  • Resourceful, proactive, delivery-focused, and comfortable solving complex business problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative and energetic team player who embraces change and is committed to continuous improvement.
  • Full professional fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, is required; Portuguese is highly preferred but not mandatory.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
