International Media Manager – LATAM

São Paulo, Brazil (Hybrid)

 

The International Media Manager – LATAM is the key bridge between Global Media and local marketing teams, ensuring global media strategies are translated into locally relevant, high-performing campaigns across Latin America, including with a focus on Brazil and CASSA (Central America & Spanish Speaking South America).

This role acts as a trusted advisor and market advocate, representing LATAM needs within global planning while aligning local execution to global priorities. You will lead local media planning excellence, agency performance, and campaign delivery—driving measurable business impact across the PlayStation portfolio (Hardware, Software, Services, Peripherals, and Third-Party Marketing).

You will partner closely with Global Media, Campaign Management, Analytics & Insights, and agency teams to deliver coordinated, insight-led, and commercially effective media activity.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

Market Strategy & Campaign Delivery

  • Translate global media strategies into locally relevant plans and activations
  • Lead end-to-end campaign planning and execution across LATAM markets
  • Ensure campaigns are data-informed, on time, on budget, and aligned to KPIs
  • Maintain a comprehensive view of the campaign portfolio, aligning audiences, channels, and investment
  • Feed local insights into global planning to improve local relevance and impact

Agency & Partner Leadership

  • Lead local media agency relationships, driving planning quality, performance, and accountability
  • Improve briefing, reporting, and optimization processes
  • Be responsible for agency performance, resourcing, and financial management (budgets, POs)
  • Build strong partnerships with local media owners and vendors to unlock value and innovation

Measurement & Performance

  • Embed a test-and-learn, data-focused approach across all campaigns 
  • Oversee post-campaign analysis and ensure actionable insights
  • Partner with Analytics teams to optimize performance and inform future investment decisions
  • Champion data-informed planning and budgeting within the LATAM territory

Collaboration & Influence

  • Act as a connector between Global and Local teams, aligning priorities and ways of working
  • Collaborate across international markets to share best practices and drive consistency
  • Influence partners across functions to deliver strong commercial outcomes
  • Liaise with the Brazilian and CASSA Commercial teams on Retail media activity

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience in media, marketing, or advertising (entertainment, gaming, or tech preferred)
  • Fluent in English and Brazilian Portuguese (spoken and written), Spanish a bonus but not required.
  • Based in Brazil, able to regularly attend the São Paulo office for team collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of the media and retail landscape across LATAM markets –Brazil and CASSA (Central America & Spanish Speaking South America), primarily Mexico.
  • Experience working within global or regional marketing environments
  • Proven ability to lead media agencies (internally, within agency or externally managing) and cross-functional teams
  • Experience delivering integrated, multi-channel campaigns
  • Expertise in digital media (programmatic, paid social, search)
  • Experience with campaign measurement, analytics, and optimization
  • Strong communication and partner management skills, with the ability to influence across global teams
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated AI proficiency, with the ability to effectively leverage AI to improve productivity, accelerate analysis, strengthen decision-making, and enhance the quality of work
