Sony Music Entertainment is looking for a Senior Analyst / Manager of Finance to join a small dynamic team assisting the Head of Finance in managing the financial operations and reporting for Three Ten Merch. Three Ten is a merchandising company based out of Los Angeles, California. Founded in 2017 by Jeff Delson, Three Ten sets itself apart from traditional merchandising by offering clients an elevated and specialized branding experience. We work with some of the world’s largest Artists & Brands with projects that include music, sports, entertainment IP, experiential, retail stores and pop-up shops. In 2024, Three Ten became a part of the Sony Music Entertainment Group.
This role reports to the Head of Finance.
What you'll do:
- eCommerce Division:

Manage monthly reconciliation for approximately 15 Shopify stores, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Assist with the monthly close and forecast, including transitioning to SAP (scheduled for 2025).

Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts are reconciled accurately, timely.

- Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis.

Support the On-Site Retail Division with monthly reconciliation and client reporting.

- Budgeting & Forecasting:

Assist in the annual budget process, contributing to the preparation of forecasts and financial projections.

- Vendor Payments & Administration:
-
Support in financial administration to ensure the proper setup of vendors and the timely processing of payments.

- Ad Hoc Projects & Analysis:

Provide support for various ad hoc projects and financial analyses as required by corporate and senior management.

Who you are:
- 3-5 years of finance and/or accounting experience.
- Passion for music / the music industry.
- Music or digital media experience preferred.
- Excellent analytic skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel (index/match, lookups, pivot tables, etc.) and proficient in other Microsoft Office suite applications.
- IP/SAP/Business Objects/BPC experience a plus.
- Ability to work independently, be resourceful, manage multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure.
- Pragmatic, professional, highly organized and great attention to detail.

California Pay Range
