Three Ten is a merchandising company based out of Los Angeles, California. We work with some of the world’s largest Artists & Brands with projects that include music, sports, entertainment IP, experiential, retail stores and pop-up shops. The Director, Planning and Allocation will play a key role within the Three Ten Merchandising on site retail team. Your role will be responsible for utilizing data and research to influence strategic decision making across all aspects of the business.
This role will be tasked with creating and executing the next generation of reports, dashboards, and analysis to plan and assess the performance of Three Ten’s On Site retail ventures. This role will work closely with Head of Onsite Retail, Director of Merchandising, Buyers and Allocators.
What you'll do:
- Lead the on-going development and enhancement of multiple daily, weekly, Monthly reports, tools, analyses and partner with Head of Onsite retail for presentations to Executive Leadership as well as existing and potential client presentations.
- Contribute to the development of standardized reporting practices and control methods. Manage weekly and monthly reporting, delivering accurate analysis to support business decisions and channel performance.
- Support ad-hoc analytics & research requests across clients, licenses, retail space and traditional Retail math needs, to support answers for business critical questions across all facets of the business.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all tools + reports
- Support the development of financial plans with input from merchandise and finance teams, including forecasts for sales, gross margin, inventory, and turnover. Engage in cross-functional alignment for accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
- Partner with Head of Onsite retail to Implement pre-season Open-to-Buy (OTB) strategies in alignment with financial targets
- Establish and drive performance against channel-specific KPIs and benchmarks (e.g., in-store rate, sell-through) to measure success and drive strategy.
- Identify opportunities and risks against the plan, providing actionable recommendations to enhance performance.
- Manage inventory health to ensure optimal stock levels and turnover. Ensure effective stock flow to maintain product relevance, facilitate stock clearance, and. optimize margins for both planned & non-planned production.
- Manage forecasts & analyze business performance at relevant levels to support business needs including Gender, Category, Class, Key Item/Franchises, and Product Type. Share insights & provide guidance to improve sell-through in partnership with Buying & Allocation.
- Partner with buying and visuals on markdown and pricing recommendations
- Support size analysis and breakdowns with Buying and Allocation, ensuring alignment with market needs & integration into the buying process
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with the Buying and Allocation teams and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners.
- Provide replenishment details to Distribution center in Collaboration with buying team.
