As Manager, Retail Sales, you will play a key role in helping our artists’ merch reach their fans across the globe. You will be responsible for actively pitching artists and selling product to existing retail accounts, strengthening client relationships as well as opening new retail accounts to expand our global reach. This is a unique opportunity to influence how merch intersects with artists and their fans.
What you'll do:
- Actively pitch artists and sell product to existing retail accounts with an emphasis on expanding our artist footprint and increasing total US revenue.
- Build and strengthen retailer relationships to achieve long term partnerships and open new categories or areas of business.
- Drive new business by prospecting existing connections proactively sourcing new accounts.
- Regularly communicate with team members on ongoing special projects, participate in brainstorms, proactively research trends and be a vocal and contributing member of the team.
- Monitor artist/label projections, sales reports, artist activity and production deadlines in addition to a close eye on royalty percentages and margin.
- Leverage market and competitor trends along with buyer preferences at the category level to build strategic sales plan.
Who you are:
- You have 3-6 years of relevant wholesale experience.
- You are a thoughtful, organized and results-oriented professional.
- You ideally have established relationships with buyers in the US retail fashion industry.
- You have a strategic mindset and lean on data to inform and track business goals.
